..to Boston, according to informed sources, permitting Nomar and his future wife more quality time together during the summer months.

Give us Kristine Lilly and Dagny Mellgren, and it's a deal. ;)

    trade?

I have a serious question mark rolling around in my head on this one. What real good would come of this truthfully. In the off season, they have plenty of time together. And when both are in season, how much would they realy see of each other anyway. While Mia may have an over nighter away game. Nomar is gone for as long as 2 weeks sometimes before returning to Boston. So frankly, I don't see that their time together would be increased by Mia being traded to Boston.

If this is a serious post then its in the wrong forum.

If it was meant to be rivalrus then it failed miserably.

Which "informed sources" do you speak of or is this merely based on assumptions?

Mia is not a Charge player and is therefore unworthy of any attention whatsoever, even condemnation.

Are you sure it's not the Philly Inquirer?

Why would Boston want the Hammster anyways? Lilly, Mellgren, and Meinert are three of the league's leading offensive players. Unless "pig-meat" can play defense, please stay away.

And how many times have they made it to the postseason? Oh wait...I'm assuming you'll blame it on Hoffman?

And besides that. You've got Lil. I'd choose Lil over Mia ANY DAY.

but Mia and Lil together....would be very difficult to beat that...very. the only way it could get any more unbeatable would be to add Millie.

Here's the answer! Take all the flounders, I mean NWT'ers and put them all on the same team so all the other teams can Kick their a_ _ and show who should really be on the NWT. Time for some of them Gals to move on. Seriously they need to make some changes. Fresh Blood. Get some of the young gals in their, the ones who still have heart and legs. Is it that other teams are perfoming better or we are still relying on the old timers.

Uh...did you not catch the Gold Cup? I'd say the "old timers" as you call them, can still be safely relied upon.

Yeah, if you listen to him he wants Ape to send the Charge to China in '03... so we can come in last place.

I however, would send them somewhere else...

My buddy (who shall go nameless) who covers the Freedom has heard the same rumors. Washington, however, has apprently asked for Lilly, Sobrero, and their #1 pick. Safe to say nothing's going to happen, regardless of what the "queen" wants...

Yeah, I don't think that's gonna happen any time soon. I wouldn't make the trade for Lilly alone.
