I find this loathing of McPickle rather humorous. He is not, by any stretch of the imagination, a great columnist--but I actually enjoy reading his articles, and his willingness to wade into the bigsoccer maelstrom garners some of my respect. Good job, McPickle!

I'm not sure if walking onto a minefield drunk with tap dancing ambitions is something I respect. To quote a classic movie character, "Ballsy. Stupid, but ballsy."

    Great article...

"In little Gianluca, the Mastroenis have a new generation to fill with their passion.

"As soon as he's walking," Frank Mastroeni says of his grandson, "we're going to have to get a ball and start training him."

If this is not dedication, i don't know what is.... :D

    wade?

    wade???

    what? into thin air???

i suppose that is somewhat valid... gases are techinically fluids

    but willingness???

i'd say the willingness is that he wants a job and he is too ********ing ignorant and stupid to be capable of handling any assignment, so they gave him this one... which he is failing at miserably

he never offers anything... whatsover... there is no piece of information he ever brings to the table... not one... nothing... zero, zilch... no news, nothing

ever... he has never provided any news... which is 100% insane... he works for a newspaper, writing articles... his opinions are that of the 5 year old variety... maybe funny to hear, but when it's an adult... you just stare at them and wonder if there is anything going on in their head... did he really just say that? i mean he always sounds like he is going to start crying

if he had a half a clue... he could make a few calls, talk to some players, go to the lockerroom, come out with some nuggets for all the readers... practices, games... something

but no... there's nothing there... everything he writes can be found in the boxscore

everything else is about how ********ing stupid he is and he can't believe people don't appreciate his stupidity
