Don't be a hater. As I recall, we had plenty of other strikers during the Nowak era who didn't turn out to be great just because Nowak was there providing service, and Razov was just a couple of bad coaching decisions away from leading the league in goals two years ago without Nowak, so unless you're trying to tell me Andy Williams is the new Peter Nowak, I'm not buying your argument.

I hope Razov recovers from his injuries and returns to his former form, just as long as he doesn't do it against us.

I think its more deserving of a bitch slap instead of golf clap.

All you retards are diddling your clitorous' because Nate scored 3 against the worst defense in the league.

I mean no offense guys but we have teams over here in NY that can handley beat Chivas USA and score 3 against them.

Lets see the freaking retarded giraffe put in three against LA or DC or NE.

me thinks Nate is going to leave alot of you Metro wannabes with a case of major blue balls much like Damani Ralph did last year. Scored early on then figured him out then nothing.

That was also a guy with more skill and athleticism than Nate will ever have.

Razov will win because if nate scores one more goal he will be playing for cheslea. It's really amazing how quickly everybody blows with the wind when it comes to the baby giraffe and then once he had a hat trick against a team put together in a LA playground everyone wanted to kneel down to his small bay giraffe ****. Where was he when we needed an insurance goal against KC? When Ante was in his prime he was burying a ball in the back of the net to prevent the tie.

Nate and Ante's names both have the same letters - E A T N. That information is as important as any post in this silly thread.

I would have to say my favorite goal of Ralph's was the one that won us the
U.S. Open Cup, that was great, 1-0 right, played in jersey.

Nate will do fine against the metroscars, especially bradley jr. You seem concerned, don't be, we've got some incredible new talent that is starting to find thier chemistry within the squad. We're halfway done with the season and
we've already found out that Nate is'nt Damani, ( Nate is dominate in the air while Damani was more consitant with his feet) ( both are powerful but Nate's
    vision is better)

Chivas is actually 2 players away from crushing the metros 4-0.

as for the 3-trick against Chivas, that header was suhweet, and he was nice
    enough to sign my ticket.

I believe that would be Big Nate Jaqua 7, Metro Ratso 3.
    Thank you very much.

It is with great pleasure that I announce the following results for 062905: The FIRE'S leading scorer, Big Nate Jacqua, recorded another goal tonight. Additionally, his determined activity in the United box created a FIRE penalty kick that was converted by Ivan Guerrero. All considered it was another evening of progress for Nate. Other highlights of the game were a tremendous goal by Thiago, continued solid play by Chris Rolfe and Justin Mapp, and another questionable job of game management by Coach Sarachan (Dave, PLEASE, get with the program).

Big Nate Jaqua = 7 goals; Metro Ratso = 3 goals. Thank You. :)

Don't forget that it was also Jaqua's pressure on the DC defense that led to the bad pass that Thiago turned into a beauty of a goal in just two touches. So he figured into three of the four. Not a bad night's work.

Damn it. He would have had 2 if the D.C dude wouldn't have pulled him down for the pk. 1 is still great though. If he gets 3 :D Saturday against Chivas, he'll be at 10.

    GO JAQUA!!!

Hey, don't let your heart be troubled, Nate will get his share of goals. He needs to continue to focus on playing a solid basic game: keeping shape on the pitch, moving to space, reacting to the ball, and getting his shots on goal - the fundamentals of playing his position. Often, many players try to do too much - too soon, without the benefit of a solid foundation of the basics. I think it would be safe to say that his foundation is getting stronger every game. There can be no doubt that Nate has achieved, as they say in "Four Four Two", the status of: "The Boy is Something Special". By the way, the folks at MLS are in agreement, Nate has been honored as Honda’s June Player of the Month:

If he did, imagine how many added goals that would have given him this year? MLS leading scorer by far.
