analysis paralysis and playing by intuation and rhythm

  1. Whats a good way to just dance with the ball and play with instinct and rythm like the brazilians rather then over thinkink like i usually do.

    Take samba dancing classes.

    Relax, listen to some music, feel the energy of the game.

    It does wonders when you just do it, don't think, just play.

    develop some really good confidence w/the ball at your feet so you don't have to think so much at what you should do, it should just come more naturally with more confidence

    watch alot of brazil games and pay attention to players like ronaldinho, kaka and thier unique styles and try to develope your own.

    This is a bit difficult for non-Latin players as rhythm plays a great part here. Bpttom line is if you know how to dance to salsa, mambo, samba, rumba, bomba/plena, tango, afrocuban or afrorican music then you got a step ahead. If not, well, like others already mentioned, take some dancing classes. Believe me it helps A LOT on your foot work as well as evading your oponents.

    The only real way to do this is to keep playing. Playing by intuition instead of thought means buidling up muscle memory (which means building up patterns in the brain that allow it to perform muscle movements without conscious thought) and the only way to do that is build up experiences.
