Thats weird. When I was little I left the ball outside and there was a lightning storm that night. When I kicked it the next day, it popped.

As far as I remember from my science classes when it's hot the air expands and when it's cold the air compresses. May be that is the case. For example, I noticed that when I inflate my soccer ball inside and then go outside when it's like 3 degrees Celsius, the ball becomes surprisingly very underinflated. Should also work vice versa. So may be you've inflated it with a 20 degrees air and it was, let's say, 35 degrees in your car. That's still really weird, though.

A few weeks ago I didn't blow up the ball, but it busted and deflated in a few seconds.

The goal posts we were using had corners, and I took a free kick, and it hit the inside corner. The ball busted, and I didn't score becuase the ball just sat in front of the line.

I was robbed of a goal!

When I was in Germany on a very cold day we had the bladders blow up on 2 very expensive balls in one game.

No I haven't, but I did have a Ford F-150 run over a ball. It was oval for a while but it never poped.
