Men's Health says MLS games are a great place to meet women

    I just got the latest issue of Men's Health magazine and they report in that MLS games are the best sporting event for men to pick up women because 47 percent of those in attendance are female, the highest percentage of any male sport.

    Maybe they should have a single's night at each stadium. Too bad I'm married.

    Yeah, between soccer moms and girl's youth teams, I don't know how much of that percentage is left... :)

    Met my wife at the 2000 MLS All-Star game.

    And, yeah - there are a number of fine women walking around at games.

    Years ago the indoor team the Detroit Rockers used to run radio ads implying the games were a good place to meet dates.

    Kind of a desperation move to advertise that way. Like nightclubs that have no live entertainment - the only attraction is the other club goers.

    If MLS ever started advertising this way I'd say the league is in trouble. Thankfully they don't.
