HT 1-0 in Levante's favor. They are playing with the spirit that clueless Valencia can only dream of. Can they hold?

Barcelona is choking, by the way. Levante has even hit the post, they should be 2-0 at the least, but Barcelona have been lucky all season (on top of playing well), let's see what happens in the last minute.
However, I do think that both Ronaldihno and Deco (with yellows), should have gotten red cards.....this is disgusting.

Well we gave them a run for their money.......not many thought we'd be in the title face this long.

Well at least the war for the Pichichi wages on.

It's only appropiate that Barça would become champions in a game where Levante didn't get a penalty, and van Bronckhorst and Ronaldinho were 'spared' of red cards. Pretty much sums up the season. :D

"It was the final robbery, by twice over" By Tomas Guasch

    http://www.as.com/articulo.html?xref=20050515dasdaiftb_34&type=Tes&d_date=20050515&anchor=dasftb

" ......is it really coincidence that Burrul (Sev -RM ref) didn't see penalty and red card in the foul of Javi Navarro to Ronaldo, that Undiano (Lev - Bar ref) didn't see a clear hands of Gio inside Barcelona goal area, that Undiano didn't send off Ronaldinho and Deco? In Ronaldinho play, if he saw the play is red card not yellow. And the Deco play is the same play that the helguera play with one big difference: Red card to Helguera, yellow card to Deco ... We attended to the last disgraceful act that was written since Villar was elected president of Spain soccer federation supported and voted by Laporta, betraying the majority decision of La liga profesional clubs (assotiation that represents the 1st and 2nd division proffesional clubs) ... in the present world, the traitors have reward....

Hard work will have Florentino for the next season. Without doubt, he will reinforce the team, but it won't work here (la liga), the objetive of RM for the next season should be "la decima(the tenth CL)" ... Barcelona won its first throphy in 6 years with extra help ... Congratulations"

I'm more optimistic than Tomas Guasch. Even with their extra help, the next season they won't be able to stop us!!!!!!!

This pretty much sums up my thinking too. This year we started off horribly, never really got going until Luxembergo arrived, and still managed to put more pressure on Barca than anyone would have thought mid-season. Next year we will have players who are talented and HUNGRY to win -- I think we will have a very good season 2005-06.

That's assuming we don't make too many changes. The team chemistry really started to click during the 2nd half of the season. While a few new additions are definitely needed [alternates for RC, Salgado, Gravesen and someone to take over for Zidane], I just hope that it's not excessive.
