Has Nike come up with a new see-through US Women's jersey?

Kind of scandalous if you ask me...

Probably helps them vent better - and I think a lot of players wear an undershirt underneath besides. Not a big deal.

Bra area looks covered up, with the venting over the abs. I play in southern AZ and would love a jersey like that on those 100+ degree days.

Are you serious? A bit of venting over the stomach, and you're calling it porn? This isn't anywhere near as bad as teh Australian women's basketball unis in the last olympics:

Not to mention the beach volleyball "uniforms."

The chest area is covered up, so it is appropriately modest. In fact, that venting makes it seem similar to the men who use the same coolmax fabric. Isn't gender equity wonderful? ;)

Yeah, one day women are venting properly on the pitch; then before you know it lecherous men are lining up after matches trying to stuff dollar bills down their shorts. The insanity must stop!

Agree! men are only interesting in any women's sport where they are wearing revailing uniforms. women's should refuse to go along with club management if they value them selves about compensation. but that not the case today. and it's very hard to say no if there may be a future where some form of decent income can't be made when they retire. they usually go along with this kind of thing because it offer fame and money. I am not speaking of those women's who keep they self respect against any attempt by greedy Businessmen to exploit them. women's are mostly to blame for giving up they self respect. there are thing I would like to say about this discussion but prefare to be silent.

You know, the world moves on. Ever been to a high school soccer game recently and seen the girls change out of their warm-up jerseys to their game jerseys? A whole team of Brandi's.

Being a father whose daughter is only 5 years past that situation, I look away...but times have changed. When she was playing in high school it was that magic act that women can pull off by changing with revealing anything.

Yes, it is quite interesting when men wear women's uniforms, especially revealing ones. I think cross-dressing soccer players would cause quite a stir.

The discussion is about women and not guys. history have require women to be discrete. guys have been half naked since the begining of time. if women feel they can't be attractive with out showing so much skin, that fine to them.

    here.
The Blatter's idea of a thighter women uniform in the past had been gained huge controversial comments from the likes of Foudy, CHastain etc etc so, what do they ( Foudy etc ) think about it now, do they wanna say something ?

Hello? There's a HUGE difference between a jersey with a mesh stomach and the short, tight shorts that goober was advocating. Short, tight shorts were intended to sexualize the players. The ventilated jersey is loose and constructed for player comfort--and keeps those ever-distracting breasts concealed. The new jersey isn't intended to be a peek-a-boo to titillate male fans. It's intended to keep the women as comfortable as the men who wear the same material.

Wow. I think this has the potential to turn into one of the all-time great BS.com threads evah. Now all we need is Thomas Flannagin to show up.

I'm not sure why there is ever a question about whether Foudy wants to say something.

Foudy always wants to say something.
