    Become the Tea Pot!!
It certainly isn't all doom and gloom. Just as there was a 'negative' thread so shall there be a 'positive' one ;)

Some of the things that I'm looking forward to next season would be:

    - the fact we have some genuine quality in the youth team just waiting for their chance(s) If they fill out this Summer or, look good when training/playing during the tour of Asia, they will get chances next season, I believe(hope) This is the thing I look forward to more than anything else. :) [yoda]Must faith in the boys you have,mmmm[/yoda]

    - Ferguson will be desperate to get the title back to the halls of OT! We are still the most succesful team of the decade so far by a fair amount. Having one of the Southern sides again take the title will not sit well with anyone at the club. Fergie under huge pressure has a habit of delivering.

    - It's probably Keano's last season. If it is, he will want to go out with a bang. I would hope the rest of the team gives it their all for him as much as for themselves.

    - Quite a few of the guys in the squad haven't won the league before, I would hope that they now have that hunger that combined with the new signings gives us a new drive and focus..

    - No more deadwood.. :)

    - Hopefully, a fit Ruud.

    Add em on.

    A full season from Ruud.

Continued improvement of Rooney, Ronaldo and, yes, Fletcher.

Three wonder goals (out of 25) from Rooney and two (out of 15) from Ronaldo.

    Five boring goals from Fletcher.

    Lot more appearances by Klebs.

David Jones with the first team.

    Prem title.

Great things to look forward to? Of course.

The continued development of the three young ones--Ronaldo, Rooney, and Fletcher. They'll continue to support and complement one another.

New blood to learn from the old guard in the midfield. Bringing in the right guys is essential, and I think money should and will be spent here.

An experienced keeper and renewed confidence from Tim Howard. No matter what your opinion is of his skills, you can't deny that he has the right attitude.

Seeing Ruud and Rooney together up top for a full season.

First team action for ManUSA--Spector and Rossi.

And of course bringing the Premiership trophy home.

Pardon me for asking, but exactly how are you computing this "most successful team of the decade" and "by a fair amount"??? What?

ManU have 3 of the 6 titles this decade, followed by Arsenal with 2 and Chelsea with the current one.

ManU have 1 FA Cup to 2 for Arsenal

And Arsenal haven't finished lower than 2nd in any season this decade while ManU are coming off back to back 3rd place finishes to add to another one in '02, so I'm not sure how you've come up with "most successful", and certainly not "by a fair amount". If anything, based on consistency, you'd have to say Arsenal are currently the most successful club in the EPL this decade.

The best thing is that we will have both Heinze and Ronaldo
from the start of the season.
Remember they were not with us early this season
    because of their Olympic committments...
Plus we will have Rio as well, this year he was coming
    off suspension..

By the way how many of their top players did Arsenal
and Chelsea have playing in the Olympics....

A new signing or two to come into the club with the desire, drive and attitude that Heinze and Smith did this year (OK maybe that's too much to ask for).

Carroll, Silvestre, Saha have moved on.

A return of the swagger...

Players fit/present for the start of the season ( a mere 3 months away).

    Another great year for FUCOF-FFS.

And most importantly...Getting our trophy back.

    Winning the Premiership.

Give youngsters more opportunities in the first team.

    Sign a combative central midfielder.

    Fit players.

SAF using two strikers up top.

Transfer receipts for P Neville and Fortune.
More magic from Ronaldo and Rooney.
The further improvements of one Darren Fletcher.
The inclusion of Rossi, Jones, Pique into the first team.
An Obi Wan Kenobi lightsaber show.
Keane lifting trophies in his triumphant final season.
Forgetting I ever heard the name Liam Miller.
    The new kits.
I'm excited. Almost wish there was no such thing as summer.

First on my wish list is that we do not suffer the repeated injuries we had this year so that we can see some consistency of team selection (please, Alex) and cohesion. The Ruud - Rooney pairing is mouth-watering but they need time together to develop. I also want to see Giggs and Ronaldo played together - each is far more effective when the other is on the opposite flank. It's easy for an opposition to double-team one of them but too expensive in personel to double-team both. In tough matches I wouldn't mind seeing Rooney drop back alongside Scholes with Roy Keane dedicating himself to a defensive role - 10,000 pounds off your week's wage, Roy, for every goal conceded ;)

Another creative and/or defensive midfielder to relieve Keane/Scholes occasionally wouldn't go amiss either.

No bet for the Cup Final. The one meeting this season in which there was no bet resulted in an Arsenal win, so I'm trying to change the Gunners' luck.

Next year, I'll go back to being a moron.

Alot of things to look forward to...

As everyone has said... another year of experience for both Ronaldo and Rooney. I don't know if anyone else noted it, but they were our most consistent attackers this season. Ronaldo has shown a huge improvement and will only get better... the prospect of Rooney getting better is scary.

I'm looking forward to the addition of a hardtackling groud devouring central mid... i dont want gerrard or ballack, i want someone with a beard and a temper to just sit infont of the box and kill anything not in red.

With that addition I am looking forward to the return of the 442... with Giggs and Ronaldo on the wings... Rooney and Ruud up top we will be a force to be reconned with.

Rio forming a strong partnership with Brown - if we dont buy a cb we need to atleast give up on silvestre and try to cultivate Brown.

I'm looking forward to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's return to fitness and the competition for starting places he will bring.. he will teach alot to both Rooney and Ronaldo and relieve them both when needed.

Im looking forward to the impossible, for Kleberson to get more games and have a propper chance to play in the first team... i also think he will help us play 442 more effectively because he is such a great passer and willing to be a deep playmaker if we ever replace Keane.

I'm looking foward to not conceeding 5 goals this season that make u want to jump off a bridge.
