Yes, lets spoil him and place burden upon his shoulders even before he blossoms. Brilliant move, KFA. It's a relief at least that Park doesn't seem the type to get fazed and swept into all the hoopla surrounding him. http://kr.news.yahoo.com/service/ne...0220182537515&linkid=195&pid=sp&newssetid=414
i think i read that beckenbauer asked to meet Park Ju-Young. To refuse Beckenbauer would be even more weird, as it will seem to be over protecting park and send wrong messages.
we will see how he adjusts to National team Hope he doesnt become another Choi Yong Soo or Ko Jong Soo
Why are you doggin on Choi Yong-Soo? Is it because of the opportunity he missed during the WC? Nothing wrong with him, he's proved himself in the KNT and in J-League. Maybe not a Hwang Sun-Hong, but still his strike rate was better than our current line-up. I say give Park Chu-Young a couple years and he'll start on the KNT, probably be linked with a team in Europe after the WC (if he's on the squad)
I read another article stating The Kaiser actually requested to meet with Park, so my original post is basically moot.
Soju...Im not sure how you couldve possibly avoided this. The kid has been on fire. It was bound to happen to some varying degree.
We all know the KFA is composed of a bunch of morons. In this situation, however, I think the problem is short-sighted Korean media. German 'legend' Franz Beckenbauer met a young Korean player. That's not weird, I suppose. Beckenbauer paid 'lip service' to Park Chu-young, "this guy will play in Bayern Munich." It was a short meeting. But it was great news for Korean sports newspapers to carry on the today's headline.
the difference between Choi yong-Soo and Hwang Sun Hong: Hwang scored a goal in 2002. Choi didn't. That makes all the difference in the world to some fans. I'm kinda pissed Choi missed 3 open sitters against the U.S. If he scored those, I wouldnt have had badreligion dogging about US being better than Korea.
EGO........that's what ruins potentially good young footballers.he had better keep his head straight & prove his worth. Look at what the media has done to Rooney & Ronaldo at ManU.They make it as if they're both gonna take over the football world.
Speaking of Ronaldo/Man U, I think he is way overrated. He is flash but very inefficient/ineffective. Am I the only one who thinks that?
Just Ronaldo, not the whole ManU team. After all, I don't want to piss off Forzakr whom I have the utmost respect, among all other young Korean punks.
can someone give me the exact details of that link? I'm too lazy to read korean at this point. My reading level of Korean isn't as good as my reading level of english.
Hmmm. Methinks there is a conspiracy among young Korean punks to trash my character. Die, ya'all. Die.
