    Hai Guys,

    1.Costanzo
2.cata Diaz (too young , but can be given a chacne)
3.C.Rodriguez (he played under Bielsa, does he stand any chance of playing under perkerman)
4.Ibarra (really good player, but never layes in nt)
5.DeMichells (try him a few games)
6.Battliga (lLooked good in DM postion, can be used as back up for mascherano/cambiasso)
7.Veron (Give him one more chance, atleast a couple of games)
8.Solari (surely must be in the national team)
9.D'Alessandro (why is perkerman not giving him enough games)
10.Ortega (his he playing good, give him a chance)
11.Gallarado (Best player of the season so far, looks like he is in peak of his game, perkerman cannot ignore him)
    12.N.Cardozo (another good player)
13.pablo Vetti (ANOTHER GUY WITH LOT OF PROMISE)
14.Daniel Luduena (looks like having a great season in tecos, i would like to see him in nt atleast for friendlies)

16.Messi (lets try him, if we quailify)
17.placio (he got a chance in the game against mexico, but i think he should be given more chances)
18.C.Lopez (he looked good in mexcio will he get another look in)
19.M.Lopez (Looked good in some games he played in barca)hi
20.F.Cavengehi (Finally has started playing well in russia, very talented of wat ever i saw him, looks like he should be playing in nt)
21.K.Gonzalez (he may be old, but i think he still has got some thing to offer)
22.D.Milto (he is fast and good in air, does pekerman have him in his mind)
23.Porano (i saw some of his videos looked good)

    From the above list:

    Must be in the Squad:

    Tevez

    Should be in the Squad:

    D'alessandro
    Rosales
    Solari
Constanzo (Why is he not considered and his backup is?)

Give them time, maybe in the future:

    Messi (Eventually a sure starter)
    Lisandro
    Palacios

    Keep an eye on:

    Clemente
    Cavenaghi
    Maxi
    Battaglia

Adios, and thanks for the memories:

    Ortega
    Veron
    Gallardo
    Piojo
    Kili

I think that many of these players should be called now that we practically have both feet on German soil. Pekerman should definitely experiment with alternative teams, tandems, whatever. Out of the ones you've mentioned, the ones who still have chances:

    Constanzo
    Clemente Rodríguez
    Solari
    D'Alessandro
Gallardo (you might want to read this article, if you can read Spanish: http://clarin.com/diario/2005/04/26/deportes/d-04601.htm )
    Palacio
    Tévez
    Rosales

Regarding Messi, the coach for our U-20 NT, Tocalli, was reluctant to give him a starting spot during some of the matches, probably because of his age.
Seeing how Tocalli is now Pekerman's right hand in the senior NT, I don't think they'll even consider calling him. He has the talent, but he doesn't have the experience nor the physical conditions yet. Oh well, who knows...

I think pekerman should experiment with alternative teams and staergies, last time we did this same mistake, we did well in quaifiers, never experimented, i thik perkerman hasnt tried the wings, i think we ca put in delgado or rosales in rw and solari in lw, do some thing different, try some other tactics, beacuse if there is some probelm there should be back up or alternative plan.

Guys apart from the players tat i mentioned above, please can u put forward the reason for perkerman not considering these guys
for eg. Veron is doing well in Inter, give him a chance, he may click, we can avail this option as backup atleast

Ortega, is he not doing well.
Gallardo, one of fav players, doing great in real
Tevez i think will get picked
    Cavengehi does perkerman like him
Wat abt Diego Milto, can be an option

i think argentina should play couple of freindlies only by picking up players playing in argenbtina and say + veron + solari + killy and d'alessandro with likes of gallardo, ortega, cavenghi and luduena
lets see how these guys perform.

wat u guys think abt it

argentina is loaded with talent, taking a look at your list there are multiple players that can play the same position and are very good. Personally i think perkerman can not go to germany without carlos tevez. he is the kind of player that knows how to find the back of the net and is very smart with the ball. another player i would not leave behind is solari, i feel he gets held back at real because he doesn't start sometime but when he is in the game he is nothing but a talented work horse.

d'alessandro and milto would also be on my list to bring as well.

and maybe not this world cup but messi will be there in 2010

Goalkeeper might be our weak spot. As much as I love Pato, (and he's come up huge for Boca many times), I am not sold with him to start for the national team. To be a contender for the title, we need a guy who always transmits security, and Abbondancieri at times hasn't. I'd like to see Costanzo given a shot, see what he can do for the albiceleste.

ur right el pato only seems to shine in boca, but i think his true colors will shine in germany. we shall see how he performs in the upcoming confederations cup next month, and i also think lux will be a good replacement for him as well

im glad u mention Tevez. I was starting to worry that he had lost his fan support and the attention of the NT. Tevez is the kind of player every team wishes they had. At his best, he is simply un replaceable. After seeing him pretty much carry argentina during copa america and leading them to gold in athens i am 100% sure he belongs in Germany. I admit he has to mature fast if he wants to be the player he has the potential to be. The move to Corinthians from Boca wasnt exactly the greatest in my opinion, but then again staying low key in brazil is better than being exposed in europe where everyone will have a chance to prepare to play against tevez. Getting back to who should be on the NT, i liked Gallardo when he was on the squad, and havent seen him recently- from wat i heard id love to see him back with la albi. Hopefully tevez and gallardo start playing the qualifiers, (starting with brazil, leave ecua alone LoL)so that they can start getting used to playing with the team. If pekerman plays his pieces right, 2006 SHOULD be argentinas glory year, with tevez leading the way. Vamos AFA

as far as goaltending goes, pato is OK but i think its time to give Lux his chance at No.1. The times ive seen him with the NT he has proven to be an excellent keeper. He played extremely well in athens where argentina took the gold, i dont recall if he allowed any goals in the tournament, probably did but i know he had mostly blank sheets. I say give him the start against Brazil to see what he is really made of. We know wat Pato can do, from what ive seen- Lux could be even better.

Lux is solid both blocking shots and controlling crosses. He has great composure for such a young age. His only major weakness is distributing. Very often he gives the ball away. And if you give the ball away against the top teams in the world eventually they'll make you pay.

I like Lux, and time is on his side. He can only get better. but there has to be a reason why he can't take Costanzo's job. The coaches at River get to see both every day and they prefer Costanzo as the starter. So, I think Costanzo deserves his shot with the seleccion.

As far as Tevez, he has to be on the team. I know he has some baggage because of his attitude at times, but he has too much talent, and he is a difference maker.

dont get to ahead of yourself man they still have alot of work to do, and pekerman needs to get a solid team together and start working with that. i think he need to stop experimenting players and form his team now before it is to late.

I can't understand why people give Pato a hard time...no...actually that's fine...that's what we're supposed to do. What I don't understand is how people can say that Pato hasn't done anything at NT level or that he isn't secure in the goal. If you recall the game in the WCQ against Chile, he made tremendous saves and was the only reason why Argentina walked away with a tie. He did experience a minor drop in performance (especially his delivery), but seems to have recovered this season. He's made some spectacular saves for Boca this year-his performance against Bolivia and Colombia was fine--we'll see against Ecuador and Brazil. The #1 spot is a position distinct from the others, it's really a position that you can't switch and swap like others. Like others mentioned, you do need someone who is secure...that security comes from continuity. The more time a GK spends in that spot, the more secure he'll feel. This is even more so at the NT level.

Costanzo vs. Lux - I don't know why Costanzo isn't called up and his backup is. I think both are great keepers. I honestly don't think that they are in a position to take the #1 spot from Pato. I think Lux, like someone else mentioned, lacks in distribution. This is something you can't sacrifice in a GK, luckily it is something you can work on with time...instinct he has. Everything going well, I see Lux as a definate #1 in the future and I think he should be called up for the WC as the #2 0r #3 GK...he needs experience.

Lux @ the olympics....Clean Sheet for the entire tournament! This is fantastic he did very well. Without taking anything away from that accomplishment, we have to remember that it was a U-23 tournament (that allowed 3 over 23 spots on the team) and that aside from maybe two games...most teams never really reached the Argentine side. It was to the point that Heinze would come up to attack and only Ayala and Burdisso were left defending. Just something to consider.

Messi : fantastic player. However, let him do his thing at the U20. Pekerman could call him up for friendlies or something...but there are many other players in his position who are better for the WC.

Tevez: gotta go! Even if he doesn't start..he's a player that can, within 1 minute, make a difference. Furthermore, he's got a sensational control of the ball...he could come in to guard the ball/maintain posession of the ball if needed. (Like Boccini in 86)...or he could very well start....In either event, he's certainly a must-have.

YES my point exactly! To all Argentina supporters, if you haven't noticed yet, Tevez is a special player, and truly capable of making a difference in Germany.. not taking him to Germany would be a mistake.
