Actually I find warm-up pants quite comfortable for playing even matches, especially in chilly weather. Here's my list, the lower the item is the less important it is: 1)Ball ----- 2)Boots 3)Jersey, shorts 4)Shinpads 5)Socks 6)Compression shorts and stuff like that... ...99)wrist bands
It's all about the headband. And boots are pretty low on the list. I actually play way better barefoot than with shoes on.
oh geez.... i know we have established this before, but how about a BALL to actually dive at before it ever gets to your gloves? eh?

I've often thought nude playing would be fun. But then again, I *am* in several co-ed leagues. ANYHOO... (ba-dum-TSSSH!) I can't think of anything short of a ball that I NEED to play... but I'd prefer to have shorts on, no matter what, because pants tend to fall down or are too hot, etc.
