Full time: Suwon 2-1 Jubilo Iwata

So at the end of Suwon's 6th game in 17 days ( ;) ) they managed to turn things around and complete the double over Jubilo.

It can only get tougher for my beloved. Luckily, Master Ahn (I say that because we had a well known Tae Kwon Do sensei back in Ohio we knew him as Master Ahn) is smoking nets right now.

Well, let's just say that Coach Okada has a Nice problem on his hands in terms of strikers. Oshima is a top striker in the domestic league right now and Ahn is hot. Sakata also can bring in an energetic spark up front. Noticed that Brazilian Adhemar was on the subs bench, and I'm sure he didn't come over to J-league to sit, even though he's been just as hampered as Kubo. I like Kubo (naturally being a Marinos fan) however, any type of back injury is nothing to joke around with and I don't think they'd want to rush him too quick. Again, why change a working formula when the chemicals have responded positively?

    What's the tie-breaker for ACL 2005.

I know last year that last year was:
    1. head-to-head record

    • a) pts
    • b) goal differencial
    • c) away goals
    2. goal difference within the table
    3. Goals scored within the table
    4. Away goals scored within the table

    FT: Al-Ahli vs. Al-Kuwait 3:3

Once again a rather uninspiring performance by Al-Ahli, they should have defended the lead with much more vigor. For not the first time this year Ali Karimi looked very bored out there, didn't even celebrate his goal. I understand he must be frustrated with the lack of talent around him, but still - he shouldn't constantly take on three players by himself and complain to the ref every single time he gets taken down.

Good result for Shabab, threw the group wide open. Sepahan is top with 8 points, followed by alAin and aShabab on 7.
