I do feel that the winner of this game (Middlesbrough vs. Spurs) will determin if we get into the UEFA cup or not.

This is a MUST win game for us, as I am sure Mr. Jol will bed into his team.

    Prediction

    Middlesbrough 1 - 2 Spurs

    Downing 31'
    Mido 34'
    Defoe 68'

(bit of useless information.....I worked out the times of the goals as they relate to the scoreline)

I do agree with this, I think if we beat Boro we will qualify, but don't forget Villa. They have been on a good run recently, if we can beat them it will be a big step.

To be honest I think that the game away at the Arse is the least important in terms of qualification, despite it normally being the biggest in the season.

Some of our games look easy and some look very hard.

WBA, Villa and Blackburn at home look easy(-ier).
Arsenal and Boro away look very hard. But, Boro are on a bad run of form at the moment.

It's kinda lucky, we get Newcastle at home when they have a 2nd string keeper and inbetween the fighting/UEFA Cup/FA Cup schedule. We get Liverpool after a Euro trip. Villa are on a ******** run, so are Boro.. and we play them both :D

I don't think we'll need to beat Boro, a draw will do for us in that game. They've got a tougher run-in as well.

Yep it's a massive game. I think if we get atleast a draw at the riverside and beat Villa i reckon we'll get into Europe. But those 2 things are going to be easy to do but we can do the job.

It is important we dont lose this game.

Their is important games before this game, Middlesbrough have Fulham & West Brom at home & difficult away games against Liverpool & Newcastle before they play us.

On the last game of the season Boro are away to the unpredictable Man City & we are at home to Blackburn.

Don't look ahead. We need to get passed West Brom, and losing to teams we should beat happens to be our M.O.

Boro drew 1-1 at home to Fulham today, a last minute penalty which was apparantley outside the area.

Bolton drew at home as well.

The race for Europe is looking less like who can win the big games and more like who can drop the least amount of points.

Win on saturday and we're 3 point from Bolton with same number of games played. Villa play Charlton which is a very good game for us, draw would be best there.

Got to agree take each game as they come, but 6 pts from our next two games would be great. We will soon find out.

4 points from our next two games would be great for me.

Just need a bit of luck from the chasing pack and we will be fine.

Time to start rooting for a lot of draws to keep everyone behind us. :)

If we win our home games we have a great chance of qualifying for europe, but if we win our home games & not lose the Boro game we will certainly be in europe.
I will be gutted if we dont qualify for europe this season.

Our dropped points vs WBA look important now, but with games vs Boro and Villa (7th and 9th i think) we can still do it. Would have been nice to open up a gap though.

I take it that is 1pm U.S. time? If so the game kicks off 1pm British time so avoid any sports sites if you dont want to know the score.

Paul Robinson only suffered a dead leg so he'll be ok for the last 2 games of the season :). This is game is big, if we draw then i feel we have the better chance of getting 7th :)
