If AZ and CSKA get to the final, it will prove the non-exsitance of God for sure.

I doubt many will tune in.

Not only that but the abbreviation lovers will have a field-day!

I realise I am a bit late with this, but: Johan and Nice, you should really get married. You have so much in common. And then you can call your kids 'Condescending Johan' and 'Arrogant Jose'.

Well since the game is going to be played in Portugal on the Sporting stadium i think if Sporting made it to the final they would fill the stadium

Lol. That would be unfair advantage surely. Oh well the thing was drawn before hand I guess - I can't remember a major European cup final played at one of the team's home stadiums. Except Roma in 1984.

Yes it was drawn before the european season started.
I believe Feyenoord beat Borussia Dortmund 3-2 in 2001/2002 with the final being played on the Kuip.

AZ is about a hundred times more entertaining to watch than Inter, Juve and Bayern put together. If they offered me a ticket for the UEFA cup final with AZ in it and for a champions league final with PSV in it I'd pick the UEFA cup final. At least I'd be pretty certain of a highly entertaining 90 minutes with plenty of atmosphere.

I don't think there's a single team in this country that wouldn't take at least 25.000 people to that UEFA Cup final... especially the smaller clubs.

I remember Dutch amateur team UDI'19 taking some 15.000 fans to a cupmatch in A'dam once. Why? Because they simply got an opportunity to travel to that one special game... same would go for any Dutch team making the UEFA Cup final and I expect the same would go for practically any club in the tournament that isn't from slumsville.

Why would that prove the non-existance of god? Both teams played Auxerre off the park, thats for sure :D

I agree with atmosphere. I live in Oslo and i remember your team, johan neeskens, visited my team Lillestrom in 1998. Twente fans sang all the time, the whole game through. When fans of Chelsea and Newcastle have visited they only sing when they score. Fans of big clubs dont make as good atmosphere as the fans of the smaller clubs. That is a well known fact.

The only thing i dont like with the uefa cup is that they change the cup all the time. First they add the cupwinner teams. Then they let the Champions league rejects join. And now they trying groups matches without home and away matches.

Alle these changes every year is not good for the uefa-cup`s credability.
