A thread dedicated to Vero is something I need and demand. BTW, I just watched the recording of the US-Mexico game for the 35th time (25th? I can't remember) and was wondering what the sideline announcer Lisa Salters [sp?] does for ESPN, or whether she is still with them. She did an excellent job.

Not really. She can't do the in-game stuff. Maybe if it was a little more organized and pre-planned, a half-time segment. And you would also get to see more of her, rather than hear.
Tiffany, Jill, Vickie, Anna Nicole, Marilyn, Lisa--I don't care who Miss Arrington is... She plain sucks. If she graduated with a degree in physics or mathematics then I'd tip off my cap to her. However, she has a degree in journalism and political science and a lot of people with that degree can't find work. Anyone who poses for Maxim (quasi Playboy) can't be expected to be taken seriously except for jacking up ratings for the male audience. It took Willow Bay a very long time to shed that eye candy label before people gave her cred on CNN. She, the Local Sports Break reporter in San Jose, and the other reporter who does college football have no business in being on the sidelines unless they want to do the PBP, which would be a better sell...
Lisa Salters and Robin Roberts rule... professional and no bimbo jiggle for them... Summer Sanders is cool, but she doesn't do sideline reporting... being a Stanford alum is a demerit but so as long as she doesn't pull a Maxim shoot she's allright--FTR I'm loyal to Cal (and to Chris Roner!) Cheers!
