Carlos Ruiz, Guillermo Ramirez, Pablo Chinchilla y Michael Umaña, cuatro guerreros que darán todo por el bien de equipo. Ojala que nos podamos juntar en el Home Depot Center para juntos apoyar a nuestro equipo.

I am not talking about team support i am talking about the RIVALRY that is bound to happen.. for many years Mexico vs Central American opposition, primarily El Salvador and Guatemala at the Los Angeles Coliseum made for a very tense atmosphere becasuse of the rivalry between the fans. Note that in Mexico the above mentioned teams are not seen as rivals. However in Los Angeles this match up was WAR. And i honestly dont see soccer moms pelting Chivas USA fans, i can however see a fight break out between a galacto fan wearing a ES jersey and a Mexican Chivas USA fan.. . Now it is obvious that the Galactos with four Central Americans will indeed get more support from the central american community, and with Chivas USA being highly targeted at Mexicans and Mexican Americans, well there you have two fan bases that when Mixed in the stands will cause some sort of trouble. Never mind the Riot Squad, which i am aware has fans from all ethnic backgrounds, but how will Mexies in the Riot Squad react to anti Mexie chants ? The battle for the HDC is on..
Well, I'm just a wierdo, I guess. I was totally against Chivas USA being in Los Angeles with the galaxy, but screw it, now that they're here - I kinda like their energy. Course, I like the clippers, too. But I'm Galaxy to the core in every game they play against each other. But was I glad to see Chivas USA take down Club America? Oh yessir! LA soccer is twice as good, folks. And the Galaxy are the kings.
Chivas may pander towards Mexicans and Mexican/Americans but don't make the mistake like everyone else is doing by saying Chivas represents Mexico. Chivas represents Chivas, and that's it. I'm an American of Mexican decent and will not support these guys outside of the fact that I want them to be successful money wise for MLS' sake. Other than that they can go to hell.
I wonder if the chants will be anti mex or anti chivas? How can I go for another team in Mexico and cheer for chivas here? Have some pride for yourself. Chivas = ChivasUSA not Mexico. Lets say Galaxy start making this rivalry anti Mexico then Ill probably just stop supporting altogether. I won't root for another team unless Morelia brings a team to LA and only LA. This is where I live and thats what I'll support except for the national team. Herc is Mexican and if we follow mexicans then I guess he became my hero.

I don't think there will be much anti mexican chants. Anti Chivas yes.I',m sure there will be chants that will be misunderstood If you don't have a sense a humor.Don't forget, there are alot of latinos in the squad, only the honkies get the pictures taken of them.
