I'm the one complaining not Peseiro. I've allways been very clear on this issue. If the player is on loan he should be available for every game.
I didn't agree with the Silva issue either.
With or with out Viana will still spank them.

I'm quite positive Sporting can defeat Newcastle, so might as well face them now. However, I'm not convinced necessarily that the winner of this tie will be a definite UEFA winner when they advance. I think Villarreal and Parma will have something to say about that.

When it comes to everybody being concerned about Ricardo, why is this such a surprise to everybody? He is not that good.

    Frank Cunha gets his wish.

Should Sporting win they would face either Alkmaar or the winner of Villareal vs Steau.

Looks like If I wanna see Sporting beat Parma it would have to be in the final.

It all depends on whether or not there is a clause that allows a player to play against the team that is loaning him out. In this instance, Newcastle had a clause put in that would not allow Viana to face Newcastle in any competition should Sporting and Newcastle be paired against each other. This has been golden for them so far...

From the Newcastle website Souness said that minutes after the pairing was made reps from Sporting asked if they would let Viana plat.

    They said the "Politley declined"

either way their completely scared of Sporting and Viana, so much for let the best team win.

At this point it would be nice to get the guys who are injured back and ready for this QF tie. We need Custodio, Rocha and Polga playing...

    Guys,

The only thing bad about the draw is that Viana won't get to play. Drawing Newcastle in the finals would suck much more. Fortunately, they didn't draw a team like Parma or CKSA. Those two teams can play 10 men behind the ball, the English teams can't.
