http://www.arsenal.com/article.asp?...=Reserves:+Arsenal+3+Chelsea+2+-+Match+Report And Aliadiere scored an 11 minute hattrick. Who needs Michael Owen.
Re: Gilberto's Back I just read the same. Although from another link. Nice to hear two guys who have been dealing with injuries (esp. Gilberto) played well. http://skysports.planetfootball.com...rto+returns+for+Gunners&channel=Football_Home
Re: Gilberto's Back ok, so are any of the guys that played for the Chelsea reserves ever going to see time with the first team? and on that note, how many on the Arsenal team will, besides the recovering first teamers. My guess is Quincy and Eboue
Ryan Smith. Wenger ALWAYS mentions him whenever someone asks about upcoming English talent in the reserves.
anyone know a torrent site that is likely to have video Arsenal games? and perhaps the Sky Sports highlights of this match?

Re: Gilberto's Back I'm glad you asked! Several already have, Steven Watt and Nuno Morais, specifically. Both started in one of our Carling Cup games.
Re: Gilberto's Back How do you rate these guys? Any new exciting prospects? Our reserves are getting a lot of press this year because of the emergence of Fabregas and Senderos, and the likes of Quincy lurking about. Everyone who sees the kids play says that they're top notch. We saw an Arsenal v. Spurs reserve game on the Arsenal America trip this year, and I thought our youth looked far better than their. But, I don't know if it was just my bias. I've always wonder whether other teams feel like they have some great talent coming up.
Good to see Aliadiere looking fit again. 11 minute hat-trick says more about the reserves that aliadiere though....but he is exceptional and one of my favourite players none the less. If I were wenger id keep him out of EPL games for the rest of the season anyway...hell only go and get himself injured again. Doughnut! Lets hope he plays more than the Charity Shield next season though. Assuming we topple Newcastle and Man U in the cup that is...
It is great to see Gilberto back on the pitch-65 minutes in one of your 1st matches back is a good sign. Like he might be getting close to match fit. Aliadiere is just fun to say and he does appear to be very talented. Although he tends to disappear a bit during matches, but hell so do half our 1st teamers lately...... Another note on Aliadiere to our female contingent( Girlbinti and BabyD) --he is some added eye candy for the team too!
The funny thing I, I really don't know how how I should rate Ali. He often comes out with these results in the reserve matches, yet whenever I see him play in the first team he just doesn't impress me the way Quishy or Bentley does. And he is fighting with Woodgate and Kirkland for the title of most injury-prone player ever. I wish that he would be a success, but as it is now I doubt it.
Steph with the 'other side' of the picture! Aliadiere needs to stay in the reserves and get his legs strong. If he comes into first team football he will likely either play way too cautiously and be missing from the game or go down in a heap again. I hear the boy has talent but haven't been able to watch much of it. Also, I hope AW gives Gilberto time and doesn't rush him back into the squad. He has been out for a long time and there is no need to aggrivate his injury. He will be much more valuable to Arsenal next year.
And then to make matters worse IORP spent the morning looking for the least flattering pics he could find! Tsk TsK! Rick B has some great ones from the training grounds last season. Maybe he could post those? PS: Girlbinti-OOOOPS-I have girl in my name and I assumed....sorry!
Re: Gilberto's Back Tough to say. We still have Huth, who's our equivalent to Senderos. Looks good when in there, but hasn't had enough time. Watt and Morais were our CB pairing against Scunthorpe, and weren't the most solid back there. Supposedly both are promising, but I've barely seen any footage of them playing. Olivieira and Kneissl are supposed to be the attacking players in our youth team with promise.
It's okay, the first one isn't of Jeremie but of a south-african kid who claimed to be white, and said he'd been kidnapped by a black family. The resemblence is frightening though!
