Missed a couple of chances yesterday. Can't be easy for him to be in a struggling side.

I'd just like to say God Bless Youri Mulder for speaking up against twat of the century Hugo Borst on behalf of Majsto last night. I hate that Hugo Borst even more than I hate Jack van Gelder, and that's saying something.

And as nobody says it I'll have to: huge compliment to Twente, still unbeaten in 2005.

Tomorrow a group of Twente fans selected from the various supporters associations are travelling to the KNVB in Zeist to protest against the way they've been treating Majsto.

Bleh! Youri Mulder is just the Twente version of Jack van Gelder nowadays. I used to like him because he still remained unbiased.....

He's biased all right but at least there's one person at that table now to defend our rights. All we get in the media generally is abuse.

pfff...'defend our rights' You mean the right to behave like a thug on the pitch?

No, Mr. Mulder showed his true colors yesterday, when he tried to accuse Drent of the same kind of behaviour......First of all, that implies he also thinks Majstro is guilty (just doesn't dare to admit it on tv). Second, it's total bullsh!t. I loved it when Borst asked him to sum up a few examples, and Mulder of course couldn't. Not surprising 'cause there are none

That's all the whining tukkers come up with: 'yeah but Drent is also mean'
and of course the usual conspiracy theory: 'The NOS and KNVB are plotting against Twente to deny them european football'
uh-huh....I hear this one goes all the way up to the UN....

Not many Twente people think he's not guilty. Most of us think he should get four games. It's just that 7 is absurd, especially considering the conflicting statements Bossen has given. And you should also know how biased the NOS and KNVB are in general. Unless you're in any way associated with Ajax or any of their troetelclubjes you're likely to get bad press. We've gone unbeaten all year yet all they're talking about is Majsto. Hardly fair is it.

Also you saw that game, you know what Drent did.

    Fair enough

vd Haar and Mols got long suspensions after reviewing tv footage, yet you didn't hear FCU fans going ballistic. Zlatan was suspended twice on account of tv images. But you forget that because it doesn't fit your calimero-rants. Believe me, I sometimes find it frustrating that the top-3 get more attention but to say that the media are only talking negative about the other clubs is nonsense...

So What?! Doesn't change anything in the tables, you're still 7th

All he 'said' was something along the lines of: 'you want a piece of me?'
Not very smart as Majstro was sure to take the bait, but otherwise?...
So that is all we have on 'lifetime psychopath' Drent, eh?

It's an amazing achievement for a club like Twente to go unbeaten for that long. You'd be raving about it if that was Groningen. And I never said Drent was a psycho, neither did Mulder. I just object to him crying to the media about it afterwards to be honest.

And sorry but I just have a massive problem with someone like Hugo Borst who's never even been seen in the Twente stadium to have a strong opinion of what goes on at our club.

Yes, i would be raving about it....And I also would be pissed at my own defender for letting his elbow flap around when the game's already won.
Drent has always defended opponents who faced suspension after a foul on him, but you can't just endure 2 assasination attempts and then say 'oh well' afterwards. Enough is enough. It's not as if he filed charges against him at the police station, sheesh....
And Borst doesn't say anything about what 'goes on' at your club. He only pointed out facts that are painfully obvious to the entire country, except for that little piece of Germany known as Twente ;)

Good for you, I'm not questioning your loyalty in any way...

But there's a difference between standing up for your club and players, and getting all paranoid about it. And that's what you guys are doing now. It's everyone's fault except your own..

Again it is Majsto's fault and he should get a four-game ban. But not a 7-game ban as that would be absurd, especially in view of Bossen's conflicting statements, and the way the Dutch FA imposed the ban before even hearing out Twente's statement.

And thanks for putting those photos up especially as Studio Sport totally failed to show them (or am I being paranoid again)

Depends. If you meant to imply that SS always shows banners/TIFO of all clubs except yours, as part of their grand plot to destroy FC Twente, then yes, you're being paranoid :)

If you're saying SS never/hardly show any of that stuff, then you're right. They seldomly focus on the good side of fanatical support. Yet every suspected 'hooligan' that farts in the wrong direction is sure to get alot of media attention....

I think it's the anti-Jack van Gelder statements that made them decide not to show them.

Contrary to what the media reported, the protesting Twente fans did find out where the Majsto hearing was held:

    http://www.fctriessen.nl/1024/

They're still demanding a 7-game ban but both the Twente board and the Twente fans will continue to protest

Twente striker Kim Christensen, who was banished to the reserves during the winter break for a breach of club discipline, has been reinstated to the first team squad.Coach Rini Coolen told the club's website:
"Kim has manifested himself superbly with the reserves. The last weeks he also trained regularly with us again. Last weekend Kim went with us to Kerkrade and for that game we left a day earlier and his positive attitude during our stay in the hotel gave me the definitive signal to include him again. As I have always said: if he shows improvement, I will be the first person."

Hey Johan, does this mean that you guys are going to start playing poorly again like before the break? ;)
