http://www.mlsgear.com/ It's about frickin' time. The old site was embarrassing. This "renovation" must mean the 2005 kits will be featured as part of the new site.
I had thought there was to be an upgrade last season, but better late then never. Hopefully they'll offer a wider variety of merchandise then before.
I'd imagine the new MLSgear site will look like the MLB online shop. The 2004 upgrade of the store never came, so here's to 2005 !
[Napoleon Dynamite] Sweeeeeet! [/Napoleon Dynamite] i hope the new gear doesn't suck ass like the old crap. great development.
And that the old 2004 kits will be marked down (I hope, as I'm unabashadly cheap when it comes to this kind of thing).
I'm glad they're finally revamping MLSgear...but shouldn't this have been done in the dead of winter, instead of weeks before the season opens?
You would think so - but lets give them the benefit of the doubt that MLS had to wait a few months after the adidas deal was signed to get some merchandise created. At least that is what I hope it is. Lets see LESS NHRA Drag Boat Racing inspired t-shirts and more training jackets and team gear.
usually when a site is down means that they have already been working on it ofr a while and they simply need to upload the new files. I dont think it will be more than a week if they are on top of their game. What might take longer is the inventory upgrade going on
I heard over a year ago from someone at MLSnet.com that they were re-doing MLSgear.com. If it's taken this long, it should be something magnificent.
It also whips total dill-weeds like us into a frenzy, checking it every day to see if it's back up. . . .
