I started to like this guy when I watched him run around with gauze on his head in Korea 2002. Then it seemed like he dropped off of the planet. I heard he was injured, but he's still with Inter. Could someone fill me in? I tried doing a search, but nothing came up.

He's at Inter, but is just out of favor with Mancini. Mancini prefers Favalli, while i think Coco is a better option.

That's a shame. He seemed like a good player. Favelli doesn't impress me at all. Hopefully he gets transferred then.
Did he also fall out of favor with Trap or Lippi? With our outside backs seemingly in flux, would he be a good option?

He was injured for most of Trap's reign, but I don't think Lippi has a problem with him. Coco just needs some regular playing time. When he played at Milan he was being dubbed the new Maldini. He needs to change teams.

Actually, I put the right one in the garbage. My Avatar symbolizes Milan throwing away Inter's scudetto hopes.

With a pu$$y of a goal and the ref on their side. I was not impressed at all with Milan's performance in that match, Inter was clearly the better side. As for the scudetto, I really don't care anymore. With the Coppa Italia going very well for Inter and being still unbeaten in Europe with a home game against Porto coming up...Inter's future does not look so bad.

stop lying to yourself. everyone knows the coppa italia means little to nothing. plus inter hasn't won a scudetto since 89.

do you know what Mancini's problem with him is? The lengths that managers are willing to go to for their egos never ceases to amaze me.

In the biography post, most of those players chafed with a manager, and that chafing arguably cost the team success by manager keeping said player out of the lineup. In prof. sports, one would think the premium would be on winning. It's not even as if these players had bad attitudes or disciplinary problems. The manager not liking them is enough to keep them on the bench. I'm surprised ownership does not step in more often in situations like these.

I told u i dont want u to talk to me anymore. Your comments about football mean very little to me because your knowledge is that of a goldfish. Your the kind of person who roots for whoever is in 1st place. If Milan lose 10 games in a row then you will wear a Juve jersey. You disgust me dont ever quote me again.

easy guys this is a thread about coco....

and back to the left sided defender...its pretty clear Coco still hasnt really recovered from a series of injuries. I also became a big fan after he played with his head wrapped in 02...

I think mancini prefers favalli at LB for sure, but if Coco were healthy he'd get a shot at some point. My bet is he goes on loan next Fall to low serie a club...

that must explain why im a napoli fan right? since i root just for winners??
i'll quote whomever i want to buddy.

as for coco, they really should just loan, or trade him, he is doing close to nothing at inter. Maybe a team like Fiorentina could use him.

from what I remember he suffered a serious ACL tear or something along the lines of that.

and mr.italian, I don't think Fiorentina could use him because they have a promising player in Chiellini on the left.

i am a big fan of coco as well. he has been injured for some time, probably since wc02. in my opinion hes a much better player on the left then favalli any day. he must be still fighting for fitness and health...sometimes i see him lined up for games like tim cup if im not mistaken but thats it. what gives?

Coco's been a floating (club to club) LB since his days in Milan. I remember he got loaned out to Barca (from Milan) a few years back. He was alright. His knee problem could be compared to what happend to Del Piero back in 98. He's never reached the heights again, and probably Coco won't either. Unfortunate really. Still, didn't think swapping Seedorf for Coco was a good deal in the first place.
