I have tickets to all Romania games, but i received in the app only the tickets for the last 2 group games (single tickets). For the first one (vs. Ukraine), i have 3 tickets. Does anyone received tickets for this match?
I am pretty certain there should be at least one ticket drop before the tournament starts. Where the sponsor tickets would otherwise go? Most of the time I collect my tickets around this time as you only compete for tickets with people who really want to go the event and it is much easier. UEFA strange tactic not having the resale portal open makes it a strange one. I still do not see why it is a good idea and who is winning here? The only conclusion I see is that they stii want to sale their own tickets but those would be still bought even though if punters could get their own tickets sold by the portal. The only other speculation I have is that they just send out personalized emails. But that was not the fact for EURO2020 neither (although that was very different place and times). What do you guys thing? I expect a ticket drop next week.
I think so too. They’ll probably try to at least get rid of any tickets that haven’t been claimed for the group stage.
It will make sens to be another drop next week. I know there were some “personal offers” this week but I still doubt that they sold 66.000 for Romania v Ukraine in Munich, even 47.000 for Ukraine v Slovakia or Georgia v Czech Republic. I just can’t imagine how these games could be sold out and should be some leftovers for other games too
They were down to Prime Seats on those on May 3rd, so it's actually possible they have sold all of Cat 1, Cat 2, Cat 3, and FF seats for those matches. I don't believe they would pull those cheaper tickets when demand was five times supply on May 2nd.
I got mine, but a friend who purchased tickets on friday (Albania vs Italy) still hasn’t got any tickets
does anyone have an idea how countries like ukraine who did their sales through uefa will distribute knockout tickets if they make it to r16?
Is there a way to see or find which side of stadium behind the goals is for Home side and which is for Away side?
It'll be the same as they did last time. Fans of their Nation will he allowed access to log on. Can't see them messing with a system midway through, it has potential to get v messy.
Same as they did for the groups, which was quite straightforward. Ukrainian FA will release details. My partners Ukrainian so pretty straightforward if a connection, I can potentially help trustworthy people nearer the time. Potentially a superb team this Ukrainian batch, if they click, they can really move.
I don’t think there’s been any information published, but I would be prepared for the possibility that those who purchased (via the fan sale) and attended the most games in the group stage may get priority access. Portugal+ have communicated as much to their members
Think the only way you'll be able to know is intelligence off here. Only ones I know are England (Nord) - Slovenia (Sud) England (NW) - Denmark (Sud) England (Sud) - Serbia (Nord) Turkey (Sud) - Georgia (Nord) Turkey (Sud) - Portugal (Nord) Georgia (Nord) - Portugal (Sud) Sure others maybe able to assist elsewhere
Is it possible to get between any of the cities Düsseldorf, Dortmund, Gelsenkirchen and Cologne by just using the 36 hour travel pass or do trains need to be booked for any journey between them?
Yes, as long as you don’t use ICE trains (high speed ones) which aren’t included in FreePass and must be booked.
You are quite correct. They will still have the inventory of the hospitality which will be released as Cat 1s very close to matchday. It is odd in that the later you leave it, the BETTER the Cat 1 ticket is because it is downgraded hospitality. There is another complication - the Olympics are the following month and as I understand it, the hospitality ticket sales for Paris are disappointing. If you want a ticket for a non-'glamour' match - you will get one. The only 'winner' in that situation is the person who wants a ticket for ANY match UEFA will get their money. The loser is the person whose situation has genuinely changed.
Received all the tickets in the app, hopefully this means there's a massive drop soon and the portal opens permanently. Need that elusive Portugal X Turkey ticket!
Maybe - but they WILL be released. What is the difference between prime and Cat 1 anyway? Halfway line?
To be honest, the trains aren't actually much slower than the ICE trains. I regularly do German aways and the difference is usually 10-15 minutes not hours. If you're lucky, you may well find yourself on one of the "football specials", (if you're old enough to remember them?) Coming back from any of the England games. They're quite special!
