In bizarre news about Jesse Marsch becoming head coach in Canada:

MLS Canada Men's National Team Head Coach?!?!?!?!

Doesn't really fit on his business card or "roll off of the tongue."

I guess the Canadian FA is flat broke if they had to take a top up from the owners of the three Canadian MLS teams in order to hire a head coach.

Still, big congratulations to Jesse Marsch. May he serve well in Canada until the US finally wise up and dump Berhalter's ass.

  5. Instead of a Sneaky Fox logo they should have the skull and crossbones.

ran into Fabi leaving the Grant Park pickleball courts with Richard Sanchez the other day

looks like Sanchez's wife had a FO job with the Fire and now runs some youth programs in the city

yeah, came across this when looking up what Richard was up to -- I think the "works for Chicago Fire FC" part is outdated though

to be honest, I was only like 75% sure it was him, so had to look up to see what had him tied to Chicago now since neither he nor his wife have played for a Chicago team in a while

  10. Christina may still be involved with community stuff for the Fire. She's not listed on the Fire website.

Well, not being listed on the website could mean she plans to start in central defense for the Fire's next match, since that probably would not be mentioned in the website, either.

What do you mean, "how does he keep doing this?"
He WON the U-20 World Cup or something in 2015.
Clearly, that must mean is an excellent coach for the REST OF HIS CAREER. ;)

    Stupids are going to stupid.

  16. Pauno is excellent at falling up. Gravity has fully sucked him in to the Liga MX coaching carousel.

    From the BBC Rumors:

Chelsea have rekindled their interest in Aston Villa and Colombia striker Jhon Duran, 20. (Telegraph - subscription required)

    https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/c9885vvxjq3o

Sure, if Duran does not have any ambition and doesn't want to play in Champions League by lowering his standards to go to lowly Chelsea.
