I’m excited to see the big showdown between Pulisic and Sinisterra… hopefully Sini will reign supreme!

will make for a fun debate for…minutes

one of AC Milans best players vs .... bench at some bottom feeder EPL team. Come on guys let's get serious. If you want to compare more like Pulisic vs Arias. Arias is way better just not as marketable and a bit on the darker/older side for euro teams to take a chance on him.

that EU passport things is utter BS.

Tho my aunt in Italy told me now if your great grandma is Italian(they are going back 3-4 generations) then you qualify as Italian now. I know I qualify for Israeli citizenship their process is even nicer.

which will be funny when every single Argie player now goes hey I am Italian !!!

I doubt he will start. Unless Arias plays in MF which I dont see. I dont even think Sinisterra will get more minutes than Asprilla.

First and foremost they are really different positional players so I don't get the comparison. Secondly, in Milan he has a strong support of other key players that compliment his skillset. He wont have that luxury with the USNT but I don't think Sini will start and he's just getting back from injury so I'm not expecting much to be fair. But for 20-30 minutes of playing time Sini will try to prove himself worthy of a spot. It's a good match for both squads with neither squad resembling what they put on the field for the 0-0 friendly back in 2023.

That being said, since 2023, and outside of their normal Mexico and Concacaf rivalry, they've only played 3 top 40 teams, Colombia 12th ranked (T 0-0) and Germany 16th (L 1-3) and Serbia 33rd (L 1-2). They've registered wins vs Ghana (68th) Uzbekistan (64th), Oman (77th) and lost against Slovenia (57th). All this to say that even if Pulisic shows up they have a lot of work to do to beat higher ranked teams.

I thought you were part Korean or dated Asian women??

camorenesi was the first player i remember following closely who claimed Italy over Argentina. Javier zanetti is prolly more Italian now than Argentinian if I had to guess lol

so do the Colombian commentators. I love the guy who like how can you call up James(32.. will be 33 at end of Copa America) but not Falcao(38) who is 5 years older. Why not just call up el Pibe

James is almost done club wise unless he goes to Colombia

I only have heard Tapia doing Spanish commentary on Univision and before that BeIN.
I do not remember him being unprofessional or negative towards Colombia.

It will be interesting to hear him in English.

Any concerning news on our players? Everyone seemingly healthy and no concerns?

    So far.
However players can get injured in training and in friendlies so we are not out of the woods yet.
(But things are looking great so far. Cannot think of too many competitions in which we have not had injury concerns or some sort of distraction/suspension. Everything seems to be falling into place.)

It is being reported that Internacional is requesting for Santos Borre to play this week in the Sudamericana. Lorenzo wants him to be a part of the team on the 3rd though. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. National Teams always have the right to deny a request on FIFA match days. However with Duran and Cordoba and Borja on the preliminary 28 Lorenzo may just let him stay with his club.

We shall see how it plays out.

Best thing that would happen is Lorenzo getting enough visibility/time with Duran to figure out how he wants to use him.
