I still believe that Esposito is the best overall CF prospect in Italy and still only 21 He's seemingly has it all..size 6'1 athletic, quick and good pace, technical skills, free kicks that could rival ADP. If he could humble himself and had the work ethic of CR7 we would have something special. Unfortunately i think working with that headcase Lukaku rubbed off on him at Inter and derailed the last 3 -4 years of his career. Zero reason why either he or his brother Salvatore should not be in Serie A. I would have no issues if Spaletti called up Salvatore..he's been that good in Serie B this year and handled himself well in A last year.
No one doubts Esposito's talent. Those two goals were insanely good. But, has he matured yet? He bounces clubs all the time and consistency is still an issue for him. Maybe Samp is the right place for him. He's still very young and Pirlo could be a mentor. Pirlo has said what we've all said. He's got great talent, but he can't rest on that talent. He's got to put the work and professionalism behind it. It's funny that Pirlo criticized his left foot saying he needs to use it more and then he hits those two stunners with his left.
In addition to Andrea Natali (2008) Francesco Camarda (2008) plays in the Youth League and today Christian Comotto (2008) made his debut in Milan in the Youth League, not bad, are there other nations that can boast three 2008s in this competition?

I just saw Natali is owned by Barca. How did they get their hands on him? his dad never played in Spain
Purely conjecture on my part but if I had to guess his father got his son into La Masia because they are successful in developing players that reach the top level. I saw a list recently and they were indeed tops in Europe. Atalanta were tops in Italy.
if he's good enough.. he will play for Italia... he is Italian. No need to cap him or "steal him". Chances are with an Italian father he knows what to do when the time comes. edit: also noticed 5 appearances for the Italia U19. He's on the right path
Fabio Chiarodia, age 18, made his first start in the Bundesliga yesterday for Borussia Monchengladbach. His previous 5 Appearances were as a substitute.
reported some time ago, together with Manè they form the starting pair of the Italian national U19 central defense (unfortunately Manè is having physical problems this season)
