Idk I’m Columbus till I die and Messi is my favorite non Crew player. But nothing is more important than the team getting results. I want him to play us but in general I want to beat teams full strength ( no excuses) I’m sure FCC fans use the ECF injury excuses and If we lose any game with starters out it’s impossible not to think we could of won if not for a injury….

Yep. RSL drew and Minny lost. The only teams we cannot at least tie by winning our games in hand (we have 24 from 14) are: 1) Minnesota: 25 points from 14 games. We don't have a GIH on them. -1 point. 2) Miami. 34 from 17. 10 points back with 3 in hand. We'd be -1 if we eon them all. 3) Cincy: 33 from 16. We could get to 30 with 2 wins. 2 wins would get us to 30 points and tie us with RSL. We'd each have 8 wins, GD next TB, RSL +13, Crew +8. We'd need 2 3 goal wins to pass them. They are +10 on goals scored. The Galaxy have 28 from 16, 2 wins passes them. 1 win would would tie us with LAFC on 27 from 15, and we'd toed on wins but ahead on GD. 1 win would jump us ahead of NYRB and NYC, who both have 26 from 15. More teams can pass us on points on the weekend, but we'll have 2 or 3 GIH on them.
Turns out we weren't the worst loss of the night. Austin got blasted 5-1. And Nashville, NOT playing at 8,000 feet and NOT having diarrhea for two days, somehow managed to lose at home to New England.

Turns out Driussi alone can't make Austin a contender. You also have to play some defense occasionally, and they simply can't. Putrid is putting it mildly.
