Print book sales have been higher the last 3 years than in 2010. Sales bottomed out in 2012 but have risen dramatically since then. 2021 was the highest total of print book sales ever. The ebook is a minor inconvenience, accounting for 9% of revenue in 2022 (2023 numbers not yet available) despite selling 526 million compared to 789 million print books.
