In the Bronx Trump invites a Puerto Rican former city councilman to the stage so he can apologize to white Trump, “as a Hispanic,” for Judge Merchan. That’s diversity Trump style: BIPOC welcome if they apologize to whiteness for other BIPOC.— Jeff Sharlet (@JeffSharlet) May 23, 2024

This is brilliant One of the media's primary failures is viewing EVERYTHING through a political lens. Approving a racially gerrymandered Congressional map is a loss for "little d" democracy, but the media looks at it as a "win" for one political party vs. the other, which misses the point entirely pic.twitter.com/xrdEOKJw7h— scary lawyerguy (@scarylawyerguy) May 23, 2024
The worst people in Silicon Valley are hating on Biden and the NYT reports this as a victory for Trump. It's a badge of honor for Biden. https://t.co/pCjT2oHwZ6— Dan Froomkin (PressWatchers.org) (@froomkin) May 23, 2024

Golf all day, then fly to DC to get booed and heckled by libertarians.Another productive day for the well-oiled machine that is the Trump campaign.— Ron Filipkowski (@RonFilipkowski) May 26, 2024
I just want to point out…this kind of journalism is kinda sorta a problem in normal times. But when the election is literally democracy vs. a real, live threat of fascism, journalism shouldn’t be neutral on that. It’s a huge problem. Journalism needs to choose a side, and that side has to be democracy. And the Supreme Court is lurching more and more toward being a clear, indefatigable ally of fascism and opponent of democracy. For voters, polling shows fascism isn’t catching on. No, where its popularity is increasing is with the whole conservative infrastructure, from Aileen Cannon to Roberts to Alito to Haley.
Trump versus the Libertarian Party is the purest “let them fight” situation I’ve seen in some time. pic.twitter.com/p1Sy1f2xuR— Sonny Bunch (@SonnyBunch) May 26, 2024

Silhouette of a man choking the chicken! Trump speech ends to mostly boos pic.twitter.com/UpGwBp1jb5— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) May 26, 2024
Talk about projection at the end of the speech: "Don't allow the worst president in the history of our country to come back and do the final destruction of America." I couldn't have put it better myself.
I actually think Rashida Tlaib should be expelled from the Democratic caucus. She’s going beyond just criticizing President Biden. She’s actively trying to defeat him. Finding her a primary challenger for 2026 begins post-November. https://t.co/N7eWk6Mg1I— Russell Drew (@RussOnPolitics) May 26, 2024

Notice that they promote 2 people from each party. I’m not sure if that’s the right way to do it, but I’m not saying it’s the wrong way either. It’s like all the snark we see about Never Trump Republicans all having a show on MSNBC. That group tends to be fiscal conservatives and social moderates, which I long ago pegged as the pundit’s quadrant. It’s the quadrant with the smallest number of voters but by far the biggest presence in punditry. TIL Ron Paul is still alive Had the honor of having a short yet deeply meaningful conversation with @RonPaul this afternoon. Dr. Paul has been the carrying voice of our founding fathers, while the two parties have pummeled this country into the exact chaos and tyranny that he’s been warning about for… pic.twitter.com/FIx0mH6Pqc— Nicole Shanahan (@NicoleShanahan) May 26, 2024

Interesting news. Maybe it says something about the difference between your garden variety Trump supporter (And I intentionally didn’t say “voter”) and MAGA journalism/commentary. Or maybe it doesn’t mean anything. Since Reagan these people don't want to be political reporters, they want to be gossip columnists. Easy to see why Biden doesn’t want to deal with people like this pic.twitter.com/35KNitqKx6— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) May 27, 2024
interesting from Starmer .@PGMcNamara asks Labour Leader Sir Keir Starmer whether he agrees with the International Criminal Court's prosecutor seeking arrest warrant for Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu - a decision criticised by both Rishi Sunak and US President Joe Biden. pic.twitter.com/SD0Skt1HfP— Channel 4 News (@Channel4News) May 27, 2024
Allegedly representatives Omar and Bush made a similar error calling for better medical attention to veterans today, but deleted the tweets. I say allegedly because you never know if the "screen shots" are real or right wing propaganda. Even I get confused once in a while about veterans and memorial days.
He wasn’t like this before he was banned by twitter. I mean he was bad, but this is two other levels past that. And he posts stuff like this regularly.
