Footmob gives it to Puig, but Pec is also highly rated Whoscored gives it to Puig, too (scratch that, Yamane has the highest score!)
That was an important (if not pretty) win. Our next 3 games are against the teams sitting in 24th, 28th and 27th in the league. So we gotta keep racking up the points.
Immediate Retrospective Houston's only goal was the gift between JMac and his backline. Houston's shooting was even more abysmal than ours, we still seem to depend on poor shooting by the opposition. At least we met Miami early in the season when we were hot and they were not.
By ppg we are in 4th place in WC and 8th place in SS. In goal differential we are 4th in WC and 7th in SS.
Strange game. Not sure what would have happened if Blessing wasn’t subbed. Overall good weekend for us though, other than LAFC the teams around us dropped points Funny note: looks like the only card issued was after the final whistle.
Job done against a depleted Houston side, but not a reassuring win. It feels we always find a way to shoot ourselves in the foot. Gabriel Pec could do so much better but he's still racking up some goals and assists. His price in the next few years could be really high.

Haven’t read your comments yet. Watched the game really late last night. Wow. Can’t believe we won. Felt like a game we’d lose even before we gifted them the opening goal. How they didn’t make it 2-0 I have no idea. Crest to McCarthey for his play other than his massive f up. really fortunate to win. I think Pec is showing flashes of greatness and it’s impressive he stays influential for the entire 90. Thought he had a great game except for his finishing/final decision. Puig had a Puig game (85% great, 15% pushing too hard) but what a nice finish. Neal should really start for Caceres. Yamane had a strong game. Nice assist. Brugman looked good to me too. Standout performance. marky D needs a rest. we really could feel the lack of Paintsil last night. Heal up Joe!
