Yes, and generally a soft team. We need a Danny Pena or a Dema Kovalenko type. Brougman doesn’t do,it. And maybe I am the only one. But I would actually like to see a restart rather than a random close up of a player who may have been involved in the previous play. Drives me nuts.
Funny game. We were garbage for over 40 minutes of the first half. But two good minutes evened up the game.
nice touch by Pec, too bad he was muscled off the ball easily HT: 1-1 rough first half, at least we salvaged a goal and started to shift momentum on the counter near the end of the half.
It seems like our field is playing slow today. We are having trouble breaking away on the counter with pace because the ball seems to be getting stuck under their feet.
We have the raw talent to get a game winner in the second half, but … Barca sacked club legend Xavi after beginning him to reconsider his decision to leave at the end of the season. Chelsea sacked Pochettino after he got Chelsea to the second best team after the Christmas break. Man United are going to sack Ten Haag after he delivered an FA Cup. Now you could argue at least one of those were rash, but Vanney has had a longer tenure than all three. Ten Haag delivered three trophies, Xavi delivered two and Pochettino made a cup final in his first season. Vanney barely got us in the the playoffs once. MLS teams in general are very slow to pull the trigger on changing managers. LA may be one of the slowest.
The only 2 guys have sweat on them during all 45 minutes is Pec and Audi. The rest of the team saving their energy for second half. I guess.
