Both can be true. That second goal was U10 level. But Alyssa was arguably horrible.

And I've been warned against talking about the weight of our players

    That was nice!! Jebo!!

Now I'm going to get my hopes up only to be ruthlessly crushed later.

No alcohol for me tonight. I'm going to a cocktail party tomorrow.

Great breakout...broke the press and great ball from espinoza....Pellegrino draws all the attention up top central.. Jebo cleans up on the back side. Fantastic goal...rare to see a deep press breaking full field quick counter from the Quakes but that was as good as it gets.

we're squandering so many chances...need to put the freaking ball in the net...don't let them have any momentum.

As of this posting, Jeremy Ebobisse is now tied with Baby Judas for third-most goals in team history (behind only Chris Wondolowski and Ronald Cerritos).

    GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!!

    Crap yellow there!

Maybe not. Maybe that's homerism, but it was a shoulder to shoulder challenge and Wilson got the ball.

Tripping on Cristian is a good call. But two in close succession is annoying.

Jebo is extremely active tonight, playing well, dropping into midfield, but getting it off his feet quickly. a lot of big switches...probably the most accurate one touch passing from him I've ever seen...with Pelle tucking in up top and Lopez getting chances at the top of the box it looks pretty good. Whatever Jebo had before the game, we need to bottle it...he needs to keep his game at this level.

Jebo Ebobisse’s goal off an Espinoza assist was a textbook goal.

Too bad they gave up a goal right at the half.

Hopefully more similar Jebo & Cristan combinations will come in the second half.

    ********ing hell.

I think the yellow on Cristian was questionable - I think the Austin player tripped over himself. But Gruezo kicked the hell out of that guy and didn't get a card - I think the ref didn't want to give three cards in a row, but Gruezo's was probably the worst of the three and he didn't get a card. But he did give up the free kick which let Austin back into the game, so, you know, ******** that guy.

Brutal - we should have had 4 goals in the 1st half. Costa’s was the worst. He had lots of time but IIRC hit it with his useless right foot. He’s on the Quakes OneFoot team along with Akapo, Jebo, and Niko.

We keep inventing new ways to blow it and break fan’s hearts. This week it’s many blown chances week.

On the stadium replay it looked like Grueso did not touch the guy. Not true I gather?
