It just occurred to me that all 3 Sounders on the game day roster from California actually went to university in Seattle, as did the Hawaiian. That means 55% of the Sounders players were either born or went to uni in the Seattle area.

Surprisingly, Seattle is 3-2-1 in the last 6 games, including road games at Philly, Portland, St Louis and RSL and home games against Vancouver and the Galaxy. That is 1.83 ppg against decent to good opposition, yet Seattle has not looked impressive at all.
