I'm pretty sure I'm more prepared to broadcast these game than most of the broadcast teams. I mean seriously, do they not pay them anything? Are they not required to spend any time researching and preparing for the match? Are they volunteers just doing it for fun? It seems like they just take a few index cards from the teams and look em over real quick before the game starts. Their lack of genuine knowledge and familiarity is brutally obvious week in an week out.
I don't think I have ever seen the PK wiped out by the previously uncalled PK later called by VAR scenario before.
The only West Coast state not represented is Oregon. Even the Timbers seem to lack players from that state.
Beautiful Man City style build up by New England, where they switched flanks 3 or 4 times leads to a corner which is cleared.
9 games in progress at the moment and 0 home teams are winning DC 1-1 Chicago Orlando 0-1 Columbus Toronto 1-2 Cincy all others 0-0
Rossi brace makes it 2-0 Columbus. The Crew then make three substitutions, and one of them didn't get off quickly enough, so here's another example of the timed substitution rule coming into play.
10 goals total so far in 9 games, 5 of them in the Toronto-Cincy game. Home teams running 0-6-3 at the moment. Atlanta 0-1 LAFC DC 1-1 Chicago Orlando 0-2 Columbus Toronto 2-3 Cincy All others still 0-0
Tactical genius from Nick Cushing. Justin Haak comes on to take the DM role from Parks, who pushing forward finds himself in the box 20 seconds later and scores.
Another f****ing boring scoreless tie in Charlotte vs Philly Zac MacMath with a howler..... 1-0 Dallas
Every time I see Zac MacMath starting a game I am surprised. It seems like he has been in the league forever and yet he always seems like he is the #2 option. In other news Toronto 3-4 Cincy Santos with the goal in added time
NYC get their 4th straight win in an entertaining 1-0 win at Foxborough. New England looked great in the build up but despite having 15 shots never looked like scoring.
Talk about a false prophecy! 1st half expected goals: St Louis 0.6 Seattle 0.1 (thanks to the long range shot by Ruidiaz right before halftime)
The seven early games end 0-3-4 for the home teams. edit: There were also more goals in the Toronto-Cincy game (7), then the other 6 games combined.
