Especially in a doomed season - play the youngster so he can play better not the first in line to be replaced in the transfer windows! Pete (really wants Koutsias to improve)
That’s crap, ref said ‘play on’ and they grabbed the ball with hands…that’s a stupid mistake that should not be given a gift…should be our ball!
OH, BOY a 'long throw" by Teran. SHOCKINGLY, nothing but a foul by the Fire comes from it. Those always work!
Optimistic view: a road point! Guti making more strides towards being ‘the playmaker’ for us. Pragmatic view: still too many ‘real chances’ not being finished by our attackers. Defense looked good. Pessimistic view: our lack of confidence is a dark cloud…somehow we have someone doing something stupid ‘that allows a goal’ every week.
First game in ages where I felt that the Fire deserved to win and didn't. Pete (supposes that's good)
Gutman attacking well but sometimes blinded by goal instead of slotting that final pass. Could have been more goals if he keeps his head up. Lots of shots to Row Z as usual. Why pull Acosta when he's FINALLY finding form? I realize it's a congested week but dang bro...leave him in Frank. Fede Navarro looked good. I know he's been a bit of a liability this season but he really was injured most of the season and sitting behind Gimenez, Acosta, Pineda, Fabi and whomever else did time at the double pivot. Teran did a nice job with Benteke. Right side of the Fire's offense was non existent until MHS entered the match. I got nothing else. A point is better than a loss.
good to see Guti being a catalyst most of the night rough night for Pineda DC seemed pretty gassed down the stretch — really thought we were gonna find a second
Just finished watching replay-Gutman, Teran, Gutierrez -all played well. Navarro- fewer mistakes than usual. Fire still missing too many finishes. Mixed emotions- weak team …but on the road
