🚨𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋: This is Vini Jr.'s best scoring season of his career. pic.twitter.com/sWDeO8cVsm— Madrid Zone (@theMadridZone) June 1, 2024 And he's been injured for large parts
What he did to the Dortmund right-back with the nutmeg which eventually led to the corner assist from Kroos to Dani … that was absolute filth, I had my hands in my head like a kid watching football for the first time. This kid is fcucking special man, love him love him!
It was not his bad game, but it was probably higher expectation after what he did to Kimmich. In the end, he got that highlight (nutmeg) and the goal that might help him to win the Ballon D'or. That nutmeg got everyone talking. I was actually disappointed at that moment. I thought that Borussia Dortmund did a good job to neutralise him with several players on him, and Hummels found a way to stop VJ. But Dani scored a goal and everything Borussia Dortmund did mean nothing. Let's see what happened in the European Championship. Bellingham has been quiet for a long period of time. I doubt that most of the voters watched all of our La Liga games, but the Champions' league matches meant something. He had an assist last night that led to an easier goal for VJ, but nobody is talking for him now. However, he can become a top scorer in the European Championship, and everything will change. Kroos' odds is third according the betting sites , but his playing style is not flashy enough to be noticeable. I meant it won't dramatically enough push him ahead of VJ or Bellingham. No one is talking about Wiritz, but he deserves to be in the top 3. A good performance in the Euro 2024 might not be enough.... he has to be Platini in 1984 to win it.
Vinicius has now scored in 2 Champions League Finals, 3 consecutive CL semifinals. The ceiling this player has is top 10 all time
Vinicius 2 CL Finals, 2 goals. He's joining the likes of Raul and DiStefano as club legend. Get that BdO my boi y baila Vinny.
Este tio es una puta historia viviente. pic.twitter.com/57EofNXFeN— Trunks (@trunksRM) June 1, 2024 Vinicius: “Hopefully Presi is watching this interview and he gives me another renewal. I want to be here forever. I want to make history like Toni Luka Carvajal Nacho. They’ve shown us the way” Love this mf
I like how Jr goes to the crowd and ask for support, I think the response is only going to grow. Next season he'll be treated like a king when playing at home.
He has finally arrived. He can finish his chances now and he's really enjoying himself which means he doesn't get wound up. He's not the perfect player still, but he's improved leaps and bounds even from the beginning of his season.
I tell you what. If he meant that “Ozil bounce” by hitting the ball into the ground for his goal, then that is a world class finish. I think if it rolls along the floor instead of being in the air, keeper or covering defender would save that. He should score from that position anyway, but the finish is excellent.
I would go with that too. I remember another situation where he did what looked like a very simple assist, but in fact it was a worldie because he deliberately passed it one way with his right foot and another way with the left foot, all in one move, to hide the pass intention, so nothing surprises me about Vinicius any more.
Ps look at the trust the team have in him now. Bellingham passes the ball and celebrates before Vinicius has even taken the shot.
People going crazy about that filthy nutmeg by Vini and I'm sitting here, watching him week in week out and i'm like. The kid has so much more in him. As for Jude last night, Carlo moved him behind Vini next to Toni Kroos to combat BVB's attacks. Jude did very well.
I concur. Kroos was 200/1 he's now 7/1 for heavy hitters, or 9/1 for the twenty quidders. VJ was 4/6 four weeks ago, he's now 11/10 which is rather idiosyncratic. JB is 3/1 but was well odds-on prior to the November shoulder injury & his form post NYE. They should have had the surgery instead of slaughtering him for the last 6 months with that strap not helping, he's a whole yard slower & far less flexible now. If Germany win Euro's which is quite possible with home advantage & Kroos (aided by his longevity @ RM & retirement) plays well he may well win this balloon door. Unless VJ wins over there of course. Short memories forget the Manc last year who ... only scored 50+ goals plus the treble in his first season, but ate his porridge with the wooden spoon, gosh how messi, porridge all round ya' mouth. Utterly capricious award. VJ is by far the best, any layman knows this.
Carlo moved Cama to the left as we were struggling on that side in the first half. That was the catalyst to us doing better on that side.
When Neymar Sr was demanding orgies for teams to sign his son, along with all the shady deals that were happening to get the transfer over the line, Barcelona and Sandro Rosell bent over. Don Florentino Perez pushed but he wasn't willing to cross any limits. In hindsight, that was the best thing to happen to Real Madrid. Florentino Perez and Jose Angel Sanchez promised to secure the next biggest prodigy for Real Madrid. They relied heavily on Juni Calafat. It is safe to say that these men delivered and then some. Let's look at how Neymar Jr panned out for Barcelona. They secured a treble with him. But then he started being wrecked by injuries. He follows up by being a backstabbing rat who went to the team that was hellbent on hurting Barcelona. He also went to court against Barca for bonuses. What a shitshow that was. Neymar never reached his true potential. He has been serially injured each and every season. By contrast, Vini Jr and Rodrygo transfers have paid off in spades. Rodrygo played a key role in the 2022 CL semis to take Madrid to the final. When Vini Jr was out this last season, Rodrygo stepped up big time to contribute. But Vini Jr is now THE biggest star in world football. Not only has he become the beating heart of this wildly successful Real Madrid team, but he has made us forget about Real Madrid's greatest scorer of all time, along with the betrayal of Mbappe. He has always been the one to assure the fans, "It's okay. I am here.". There are only two players who have scored in so many champions league knockout games. One is a famed Cristiano Ronaldo. Another is Vinicius Jr. That is the company he keeps. At the age of 23, he is already the best player in the world and joining the legends of the game. Simply Mr. Amazing.
