So if the UCL is on a Saturday, when would the Europa League Final take place? The Saturday that follows? The Conference League 2 weeks on the Saturday after the UCL? So calendar to mid June and pushes everything back. UCL Final on a Saturday is fairly recent. They used to be Wednesdays.
No but they can schedule them in all diring the entire month of May. For example, the Conference League tomorrow on May 18th and EL next week or on May 25th with the Champions League on June 1st. If they want TV audiences and/or make the games more appealing to the public, I think they would get more interest if they were played on the weekends. As it is, no one notices or even cares about the Conference or Europa League finals.
Europa has taken a step up since the Conference League was formed AND the winner is an auto CL spot for next season. Frankly, the Europa often had the better matches this season as the same old same old in the CL gets a bit boring when your team isn't involved.
This really does say it all. Even when ShInter win, it is JUVE on their minds: https://football-italia.net/lilian-thuram-slaps-marcus-inter-juventus/
Dare I say it? ADL has a point: https://football-italia.net/de-laurentiis-government-reduce-serie-a-clubs/
I think that loss on Wednesday taught them a bit about intensity and how you have to play to the end. Good for them. And good for Gasp. Now lets' see them lose their last 2 Serie A games and get a 6th Italian team into the CL next year.
Even though I can honestly care less about other Serie A clubs, it was nice to see Atalanta win and take out an unbeaten side.
So Inter just defaulted on a 400 million loan. Why aren't they under investigation for financial irregularities? Isn't this the type of thing FFP was invented to prevent?
Sorry, but this is classy. Rocco gets it: https://football-italia.net/fiorentina-gift-for-ranieri-final-serie-a-game/
NOW an Italian coach takes over at AJAX? Did the world stop spinning on its axis, or are Italian coaches going to take over the world of football? https://football-italia.net/official-ajax-appoint-farioli-as-head-coach/
Cagliari just been robbed of a point by the officials. Played nearly 4 minutes over extra time, gives fiorentina a penalty then blows the full time whistle straight after they score
Atalanta are starting to add players, not just sell them. Looks like they are starting to follow the ADL model at Napoli. if they pull that off, they could well be a top 5-6 team annually. https://football-italia.net/percassi-atalanta-anfield-ceferin-apologise/
Looks like Gasp has seen sense and is staying: https://football-italia.net/atalanta-confident-gasperini-working-details/
LOL. THIS could be one for the ages: ADL and Conte! https://football-italia.net/financial-details-conte-contract-napoli/

Alfred Gudmundsson has been accused of sexual assault and all of a sudden he's an ex-Juventus player. The agenda is real.
