Important to see who’s going up and going down. Willem II is back after a few years and FC Groningen pops right back up after a year down.
Not surprisingly, Volendam and Vitesse are going down.

after the first round of the playoffs, Roda JC after coming like a minute from promotion got hammered by NAC. FC Emmen also scored late in the second leg to move past FC Dordrecht. They play each other next.

ADO just held out against De Graafschap having got a red card in the second leg. They play the 16th from the Eredivisie next.

  4. Number 16 will be either Excelsior, who have to play the farewell match of Slot in "de Kuip" and RKC, who have to face a PSV, that have been partying in Ibiza this midweek.
This doesnot sound fair for Excelsior.

NAC delivers a blow in Emmen and is suddenly on the threshold of the premier league after a weak season.
NAC Breda had a regular season to forget, but is now suddenly on the threshold of the Eredivisie. The number eight of the KK Division won 0-3 against FC Emmen, after the home game had ended in 1-1. In the final, Excelsior or ADO Den Haag will be the opponent next week. The winner of that double encounter will play at the highest level next season.

  11. Not me:D

  12. 19:54 High-profile visitors Scot McLachlan (representative of David Blitzer, owner of ADO) will see if his club can still come close to the premier league. He will be accompanied by technical director Joris Mathijsen and general manager Natascha van Grinsven-Admiraal.

LIVE Playoffs | Excelsior puts ADO on the slaughter bench, game halted by fireworks from away section
Excelsior completely overran ADO in the first half. With the score at 4-0 in the 41st minute, the supporters from The Hague threw fireworks on the Rotterdam artificial turf, after which the game was stopped.

Well, if things don't go your way.....
These self entitled, spoiled brats, who can't deal with adversity need to put in a warzone for a week to learn what real adversity looks like and you don't survive if you behave like a spoiled brat.

  14. In front of an empty away section, ADO didn't deliver anything anymore. Without the substituted Driouech, who was taken to the side early by his coach as a precaution and with a safe score, Excelsior continued to run ahead. Julian Baas took advantage of a penalty, Goudmijn scored the 6-1 after a nice pass by Arthur Zagré and Lazaros Lamprou made sure that the crowd screamed 'ten, ten, ten' a few moments later. Those goals didn't fall, but Bart van Hintum ended his career with a red card by giving Lamprou a death kick. It was revenge for an action a few minutes earlier when Lamprou embarrassed the ADO-defense.

Well, so much for that NAC-ADO final! Haha

I’m hoping NAC is promoted between them and Excelsior.

Doesn't Excelsior play on artificial turf? That as good a reason to support NAC.

Go Ahead Eagles won the playoff for Europe (thanks to a really dumb red card for Utrecht.)

I’m sure it’s exciting for their fans but can’t imagine this being good for the coefficient.
