MOTM should be Amrabat. Absolute engine today. Covered more ground than any two players. I know he’s been a huge disappointment but given his form this month and his low cost, we should trigger his release as a backup. For 20 mil he’s solid depth.

One game shouldn’t matter in our manager decision, but this makes their decision harder. Sacking a guy fresh off a second trophy in two seasons is a tough look.

He really did come on as the DM we thought we signed towards the end of the season. Buy him and Lavia and we are good to go.

    Amrabat was great.

Onana made some great, important saves too.

    Garnacho, solid as was mainoo.

City just didn't show up today.

Fernandes teary eyed in his interview.

similar to the League Cup last year it is nice for him to have something on the CV.

he's CARRIED since he joined and for his level of output he deserves better

Yes, it's a hard decision and given the pool of managers under consideration I would keep ETH. Let's see how he does next season.

In two years, the United manager has been a disappointment. He has only won the FA Cup, made another final, won the tin pot cup. One 3rd place finish and one 8th place finish. And yet it may not be good enough to keep his job. Meanwhile Arsenal are happy to finish second and saying trust the process.

Good thing Doku didn't start. Shitteh were way more dangerous going down the left with him in the second half.

it's odd seeing the city clowns shake hands with the United owners...

Took the dog for a walk around 85' as I knew we would let them in with a soft goal owing to individual error - we have been doing that all season and has cost the team serious number of points.

The season will be remembered by me as injuries and ridiculous flubs at the end of games.

The game reminded me of their game against Aston Villa. Villa did similar to them - play narrow, close the half-spaces, mark the edge of the box. Hopefully many others copy the template as City look limp against these tactics.

Managers set the tactics and players have to deliver. The injuries meant having to rely on our depth which is just not there. Also meant having to rely on players like Maguire who can't play EtH system. Erik should stay and most importantly we need to get the recruitment right to suit the high-press / high-line style.

Great effort though today from all concerned. Right tactics and great effort from the team.

The Liverpool game a particular highlight in this cup win too.

We won. We deserved to win :)

Just about the only player who's been up to the level this season.

How about Garnacho, Mainoo and Hojlund? No, but they will reach it.
