Bayern are interested in Köln and Germany U21 goalkeeper Jonas Urbig (20), who spent the season on loan at Greuther Fürth. Walter Junghans, former Bayern goalkeeper and current scout, was in attendance in Fürth several times to watch Armindo Sieb as well as Urbig. Urbig is considered one of the biggest goalkeeping talents in Germany and his style is reminiscent of Manuel Neuer. Should he join Bayern, he could be loaned out to develop further. For now, Urbig will return to Köln although the club is preparing for his potential departure

funny thing is Urbig has more potential than Atubolu even if Atubolu is Germany U21 #1. DFB are obsessed with Atubolu, 2 back to back U21 cycles with him as #1. We should have propped up a 00-01 GK last cycle instead of Atubolu fixation.

this current cycle the matches that Urbig played in XI he looked a LOT better than Atubolu. Whether it was his skills with ball at feet or his distribution or goal kicks etc.

Atubolu besides DFB obsession is #1 by default aka he's #1 in 1BL=he's #1 in U21. And likely to be #1 in Summer 2025 U21 Euro. Would be hilarious to see down the line from ALL the 02-03 GKs who will have the best careers and if Atubolu really ends up best one or not.

but yeah Urbig's style is more like Neuer while Atubolu for example reminds me of a Trapp like player.

but NO he shouldn't join Bayern nor go on loan anymore. He's already had 1 year and a half of 2BL loans to 2 different clubs (half a year at Jahn last season and then 1 year at Furth this year) where he was 1 year and a half #1 for 2/2 clubs. He doesn't need more loaning, he needs to be more fixed at a club.

Bayern is such a trash club, bring in every youth player and loan them all out. WTF is the point of this shit????? Players have easier time reaching 1BL if they aren't on neverending loans.

they also want 05 AM/W Krattenmacher and dump him on 2BL loan. Then they will demand a 1BL loan etc. It never ends and its fact that a LOT of clubs say they want to loan in players but then players get screwed over. There is always a huge risk with loans and its not worth it if you want game time.

this club is emulate the big EPL clubs of loan armies too. Its 100% about being cheapskates, pounce now while still cheap otherwise will have to pay a LOT more down the line for same player. Imagine richest club in Germany tries to cheapskates at EVERY TURN.

    LOL

nothing will happen to them because they aren't #1s in relevant pros, Bayern doesn't give a shit about any of them.

its why only idiots sign contracts or transfers to clubs like Bayern, Dortmund, Leipzig etc. These clubs will NEVER have an Academy GK become #1.

Bayern also have those Australian and Chinese youth GK's as well I think? Plus #3 Peretz in the first team who is pretty young too. Crazy amount of GK's.

yes they do have Chinese+Australian and I 100% trashed them for it too. This club is already packed with youth GKs and they think it makes sense to add even more??? The Chinese one went on Austrian FLOP loan too. Imagine he can't even be #1 in Austrian 2nd division that he plays for that club's II team in even lower division.........not even that, its his SECOND back to back flop loan in Austrian 2nd division....as for the Australian one, pretty stupid to have so many GKs when they can't all play U19 or RL #1......these clubs need to realize that U19-II should be reserved to dev German youth.

Peretz is shit, lets be honest and some at Bayern whether brass or fans really thought he'll get any game time or replace Neuer, LOL.

Bayern also screwed over 99-Hoffmann and 00-Fruchtl, they gave BOTH God Awful loans. Imagine they loan out Fruchtl to 2BL FCN......who mid-season admit that Fruchtl was NEVER seen as serious option for #1 and only brought in to pump up the #1 Mathenia, WTF. Then Bayern instead of axing the loan and reloaning him, they gave the typical BS response of

"Boo-hoo, its a competitive sport, you will stay put and "work" your way through it. You won't get any hand me out."

LOL, young players trying to emerge are NOT the players you react like this. If you loan out some 20 something player and he can't breakthrough XI that is justified but if its an emerging young player looking for that first ever breakthrough, GTFO with that shit.

fastforward after both left Bayern, Fruchtl is seen as one of best GKs in Austrian 1st and Hoffmann is getting loads of praise in 2BL with him even attracting 1BL interest.

2/2 players's careers ONLY picked up once they bailed from Bayern and NOT before.

-02 LB Voelke of 3rd Liga RWE is linked with 2BL EB transfer.
    https://www.reviersport.de/fussball...at-interesse-zweit-drittligisten-geweckt.html

-02 CF Beier of 1BL Hoffenheim to 1BL Bayer continues.

TSG EXPECTS LOSS OF NATIONAL PLAYER
There are signs of separation for national player Maximilian Beier and his club TSG Hoffenheim. Everything points to a transfer for the 21-year-old - but who will get the contract?

"In Hoffenheim they expect that Leverkusen actually have very good chances," said Sky transfer expert Florian Plettenberg at Transfer Update - The Show.

The newly crowned German champion would have to put a lot of money on the table: Beier's exit clause amounts to around 30 million euros.

-2BL Hertha extends with 04 RB Eitschberger until 2027. Also confirmation again back in 1st team next season after successful loan.

-04 CF Topp of 2BL S04 linked back to his old club 1BL Bremen, LOL.
    https://www.liga-zwei.de/fc-schalke-04-lockt-werder-bremen-keke-topp/

-Austrian 1st club AK wants to loan in 03 AM/W Bobzien of 1BL Mainz. Yeah he needs another loan.

-Looks like Kuntz as new HSV sporting director is pro Academy to get chances and 04 CF Sanne went from on track for loan to has chances to breakthrough. I'll believe it when I see it, too many clubs say that and then nothing happens and as long as Baumgart is coach, I have massive doubts there. But would be hilarious if Sanne breakthrough HSV so that troll poster gets mental breakdown, LOL.

-On next season 2BL Koln loanee players.
    Jonas Urbig
The 20-year-old immediately asserted himself as number 1 in Fürth and justified the trust of coach Alexander Zorniger with almost consistently good performances. The fact that Fürth kept eleven clean sheets in the 33 games with Urbig was largely due to him. The 1.89 meter tall goalkeeper is strong in one-on-one situations, shows good reflexes and feels better with the ball at his feet than some field players. Added to this is his strong opening to the game. Paderborn's coach Lukas Kwasniok even confirmed that he was the "future national goalkeeper". The year in Fürth allowed him to mature as a goalkeeper and also as a personality; the loan deal was a classic win-win situation for Urbig and the Fürth team. At his hometown club Cologne, Urbig should now have the right to become the new number 1.

    Tim Lemperle
Despite six goals and six assists, there is still room for improvement in terms of goal threat. The 22-year-old developed into a seasoned second division professional in Fürth, was in the starting line-up 30 times in his 32 appearances, was mostly very stable in his performances and was particularly impressive in Zorniger's (counter-)pressing style of play, especially with lots of sprints and intensive runs. The attacker worked himself up for the team's success. Lemperle has potential for development, especially when he first touches the ball, when converting scoring chances and when positioning himself when he receives the ball with his back to the goal.

    Marvin Obuz
Obuz quickly conquered a regular place on the right wing of Rot-Weiss Essen, was a top performer throughout the season and, after some teething problems, became increasingly effective. In the end, his statistics included seven goals and 14 assists in 34 appearances, making Obuz Essen's top scorer. The 22-year-old could often only be stopped by fouls and won three penalties. However, he had no serious competition for his position in the RWE squad. The loan deal was still a success for everyone involved, after the loan to Kiel last year (ten second division games, no goal participation) didn't work out so well. Essen's coach Christoph Dabrowski emphasizes: "Marvin deserves to play higher. With his qualities he has no place in the 3rd league."

    Maximilian Schmid
The 21-year-old center forward had a very good season with Roda Kerkrade, played for promotion until the end - and failed dramatically at the last second. Schmid was part of the regular staff, especially in the first half of the season, and in preparation he won the duel with Marvin Pourié, who had since moved to Altglienicke, but then only scored five goals. In the winter, Roda stepped up and brought in Vaclav Sejk as the new center of attack - and yet Schmid still ended up making 33 appearances. Played well, scored too rarely - that's how the Cologne loanee's season can be summed up. The importance that the 1.84 meter tall attacker has achieved can be determined by the fact that Kerkrade would definitely like to continue with two players from the current squad: Sejk - and competitor Schmid.

-Looks like the Koln youth who will do preseason has been decided.
    04 CB Bakutakanda, 04 M Waschenbach, 05 CB Pauli, 05 CB Telle, 06 AM/W Borie, 06 M Harchaoui

    on Bakatukanda+Waschenbach
It is certain that the duo will make their professional debuts next season. Depending on the constellation in central defense, Bakatukanda even has a chance of a regular place in the 2nd league. Waschenbach has received a request from Karlsruher SC, but should stay and take the next step at FC.

Plettenberg gives an update on Herrmann
"The 18-year-old talent is planned for the wing position with the pros. M'Gladbach has put a lot of effort into it. The announcement will take a little while.

The issue is how stupid Dortmund is, they bench Herrmann for an older and lesser player in Onofrietti. Then II is a shit place for ALL Academy players and then the 1st team is obsessed with foreign youth to dev/sell. Dortmund mostly is just a dead end club.

and yeah if Gladbach is offering you pro chances, hard to ignore that from his POV.

Dortmund will continue to lose players as long as 1st team-II is rubbish place. And fans want us to believe that Brunner is a selfish self-centered money loving POS, LOL. When sooooo many are bailing even from U17 Winning team that shows the club is issue.

-this is why Bayern rarely loans out anyone to 1BL they almost all want buying options and Bayern tends to refuse its why its always 2BL-1st Abroad loan fixations but then the club doesn't care about this level, LOL.

    -on 06 M Ouedraogo

-on 04 M Kemlein as Promoted 1BL Pauli wants him from 1BL Union. In either case 1BL is next
“The plan with him worked well. We will definitely make a new attempt,” announced Andreas Bornemann, sports director of the newly promoted Bundesliga team, according to kicker information.

-looks like 06 M Harchaoui is extending at 2BL Koln.
    1. FC Köln is about to extend the contract with Fayssal Harchaoui. The billy goats are committed to the 2023 U17 world champion in the long term.

It is the first important sign for the future of 1. FC Köln after the confirmed relegation to the 2nd league: The billy goats have agreed on a four-year contract extension with U17 world champion Fayssal Harchaoui. The GEISSBLOG can confirm a corresponding report from the Kölnische Rundschau. Originally, Harchaoui would have entered his final year of contract with FC this summer.

The defensive midfielder was one of the mainstays of coach Stefan Ruthenbeck's U19 team, as well as the German U17 national team, which won the World Cup title in Indonesia last December. In coach Christian Wück's team, the Cologne native was in the starting line-up in all World Cup games.

    Harchaoui in professional preparation
For 1. FC Köln, the long-term retention of its top talent is an important signal for the future. Especially after the billy goats had to let numerous of their own plants go in the past few weeks. Above all, Justin Diehl's free transfer hurts FC. But Matti Wagner (Greuther Fürth), Pierre Nadjombe (Magdeburg) and Tidiane Touré (Schalke II) also saw better prospects at other clubs.

From June 24th, Harchaoui will be able to appear in training with the professionals for the first time. The 18-year-old is one of those young players who are allowed to prepare for the new second division season with the professionals. The 18-year-old would actually be eligible to play for the A-Juniors for another year. However, it is more likely that Harchaoui will be gradually introduced to the men's division next season. The contract extension is the first step towards this.

-LOL, the next LB signs pro contract as 05 LB Haas signs pro contract with 2BL FCK.

-WOW, 02 CF Harres transfers to 1BL Promoted Kiel.

    THE KSV SIGNS PHIL HARRES
Center forward Phil Harres is moving from FC 08 Homburg to Kiel Fjord.

"With Phil Harres we were able to gain a versatile and developable striker type," explains Sports Director Carsten Wehlmann, "who became the top scorer in the Regionalliga Südwest this season with 24 goals in 34 games. We are therefore sure that Phil can develop further here at Holstein and help us with his qualities."

After stints at SSV Ulm and Viktoria Berlin, Phil Harres played for the regional league club FC 08 Homburg last season.

Phil Harres himself on his move: "In the past, Holstein has relied on young players who have developed very well. I would also like to follow this path, develop myself personally and help the team and the club to be successful together."

both scoring in U19 Championship final as currently 1-1 between Hoffenheim and Dortmund U19.

but but but but but but Germany has 0 CFs, WTF, how dare they perform in every final they play!!!

    Brunner's goal

if Bremen is serious about him then he should become #1 more potential than a Zetterer.

but we also got case of 2BL FD who claimed that 02-Gorka is future #1 but then blocked him with transfer of a Polish 99 and claiming that he needs match practice in II/RL. So now he's confirmed bailing from club in Summer. These clubs always make me laugh when they claim X or Y is 1st teamer or future #1 or whatever but then block them with players slightly older and more experienced under guise that jumping to 1st team is not good for his dev, LOL.

Big fan of Moerstedt, has everything to be a complete CF. Been pretty impressed with Frees at CB too, the kid is huge lol. Great free kick from Hennrich too.

What's good is Hoffenheim will play ECL so could mean more chances for youth as their squad will be more stretched with more gs matches.

yeah Moerstedt has potential to be Elite CF even more if he improves his finishing, gets close to score in every match. Here's hoping he's our next gen Gomez. Frees is seen as future 1st prospect following likes of 04 CB Quarshie+05 CB Drexler.

yeah do hope that Hoffenheim integrates even more next season. We need to see Bischof+Moerstedt full integration. Beier is likely leaving let Moerstedt take his spot........

I also hope that 02 LB John gets chance to rebreakthrough in 1st team next season after being injured all year.......

Hoffenheim the 06 GK Lade looks to be yet another winning 06 GKs.
we seem to have Heide, Schmitt, Babatz, Schlieck and even guys like Lade, Blazic, Pruhs who seem on rise too. 06 GKs could be packed of prospects. Pruhs already has pro contract at 2BL Paderborn too.

    06 W Makanda 4 goals and 2 assists in 3 Championship matches
    05 W Hennrich 4 goals in 3 Championship matches

both scoring in 3/3 as well.

there is also 07 M Poller who is seen as top talent too.

he's Jabez Makanda's bro, I would assume he's German. I recall few years ago saying that he looks to have more potential than his older bro Jabez. Looks to be a difference maker for Hoffenheim while his bro is stuck in Luxembourg 2nd division.......

LOL I hope that Dortmund does something with Watjen, Kabar, Brunner more U19 next season would be dumb as ********. And Brunner loses in U19 Championship final in back to back seasons, while scoring in 2/2 finals.

eh what can you do we have tooooooooooooo many 02-onwards CFs that are in 1BL-2BL, can't win them all. And more will emerge next season-onwards too.

    so far we lost

interesting reports say that Hansi Flick (new Barca coach) is good chance to boost 06 AM/W Darvich.
    https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/afectara-fichaje-flick-noah-darvich-103056443

    so far for AM/W
    -Bayern=03-Musiala
    -Bayer Leverkusen=03-Wirtz
    -Dortmund=02-Adeyemi
    -Stuttgart=04-Diehl

all of them in CL next season

    Next up
-Every top club in Germany wants him=04-Gruda (currently Mainz)
-Ups his chance at La Liga Barca=06-Darvich

soooooooooooo many more are breakingthrough 1BL-2BL as well. This post is only focused on top clubs. Stuttgart could very well also see 05-Raimund+05-Boakye get chances too with II promoted to 3rd Liga so 1BL jump is smaller and triple competition too.
