Amon starting. Is it enough to tempt Ceres to return and comment? Only time will tell. This is a relegation six-pointer - Lyngby start the day two points up on opponents Vejle.
Amon played 69 minutes with a couple chances created and a couple shots on target. Lyngby with a draw that's OK for their prospects of staying up - but it's a missed opportunity to leave Vejle further behind with five to play.
1788986350126968974 is not a valid tweet id Amon starts against Odense and Lucious Don Deedson. Picked up the assist for a 2-1 halftime lead, slipping a ball between defenders to Magnusson in tight space in the box, and Magnusson finishes well far post while falling down. Would be a huge win if they can hold on, giving them a six point cushion over the relegation spots with three to play, I believe.
That goal holds up! Amon subbed off in second half stoppage of the 2-1 win that gets puts them very close to staying up. Huge road win. Amon had a good chance to clinch it in the 77th minute - crushing a shot off the near post.
Amon starts against Vejle today, left wing in a 3-4-3. A win would leave them just one point (or one dropped point by Odense) from safety.
Scoreless first half coming to a close. One of the highlight moments was an excellent through ball to Amon, who beats two defenders to it despite spotting them a 1-2 yard head start, and gets pulled down from behind for a yellow card for his trouble. At least some argument it could have been red for DOGSO, but there was another defender making his way over to cover, which is probably the ref's argument.
Played the whole match but they lose 1-0. Had a couple of runs that were among the Lyngby highlights, but ultimately, one blocked shot and one drawn yellow as they were somewhat outplayed in the second half. They drop to one spot above the relegation zone ... but up six points.
3 points above and a bad GD with two games left. Odense plays the top two in the releg group in their last two games, while Lyngby play one of them, but their very last game is @ already relegated Hvidovre. They should be safe.
And they took another step toward safety today in the second-to-last match, beating Viborg 3-1 behind a strong attack. Amon didn't make the scoresheet, but the match report reads as if he was a big part of creating their 16 shots and 7 SOG on their way to the win. Subbed off in the 88th minute. Lyngby need just a draw in their final match against Hvidovre referenced by Suyunty above. If Lyngby lose, they still stay up if Odense fail to win. Amazing rally toward safety by Lyngby, wining 3 of their last 4. And Amon in his best form since 2019.
Needing a tie to stay up, Lyngby survive with a scoreless tie. Amon played the first half and had a point blank shot saved. As it turned out, Odense lost anyway, but for a time, Odense was ahead in their match and Lyngby were one mistake away from going down. Nice escape for Amon and Lyngby, and the steadiest stretch of play he's had this DECADE. Off to a healthy offseason.
