FWIW Transfermarkt have him down as being in their squad. They also list him as still having that elbow injury - with his contract up in 6 weeks
Legit or not, the fact that - one year on - they list him as still having the elbow injury he picked up is telling IMO. Either he still has that injury, in which case his future as a pro is in play, or Wolfsburg gave up on him for some reason and Transfermarkt's sources stopped got the messagfe and stopped filing updates We'll know in a few weeks
