the lack of engagement here about playing one of our "rivals" with just two days to go says everything you need to know about this team this year

I was thinking the same thing amigo.

And on our rivalry with dem Galaxy girls.
Two MLS Cup Finals we battled them out there. And that infamous WCF in 2009 at their place and the lights go out. Then late on to witness Opie score with that header, nullified by the ref.

    Still! C'MON HOUSTON!!! FOREVER ORANGE!!!

the late Saturday night games always have less engagement and it’s been an odd week in Houston plus holiday weekend stuff.

but I also think the lack of interest here and elsewhere speaks to a bigger problem - the season is just far too long to stay intensely engaged each week. It doesn’t help that the Dynamo don’t have a ton of offensive push either - think we are last in MLS in xG and the goal last night was a gift.

on the positive, team plays hard, they have grinded out some road results albeit with giving points back at home. But they gotta solve the Sebas and forward problem.

also we have oversaturation of soccer in this marker
