I know Barcelona and Manchester United don't set the highest of standards, but thank God we haven't end up like them.
Not even sure this money was for him. Completely possible it was to make some friends easy money. Make friends money, the money doesn't get tracked to him, a YC doesn't really hurt the team, the only one getting screwed is the betting house. Almost can't blame players from feeling tempted. It's too easy. At least before they legalized all of this you had to get over a step that really felt that you were doing something really wrong. I blame the whole the governing bodies for enabling this.
Nice manipulation attempt. The Barcelona Court rejects the bribery by not considering Negreira as a public official. Thus, Barça is NO longer investigated for Bribery, but is STILL being investigated for: - Sports Corruption - Unfair Administration - Documentary Falsification Buen intento de manipulación. May 24, 2024 Even this page says Barca still under charges for other crimes.

🚨 Charges of bribery in Negreira case revoked by Barcelona Court 🚨A win for Barcelona? Is the investigation over?Is Barcelona "cleared"?Per usual, the answers are mixed. This isn't the definitive victory the club needs - not yet. But a win for now.👇🏾 Read on. 👇🏾 https://t.co/Uqs6iScUyg pic.twitter.com/T30bCjxA1a— Michael (@LaLigaMichael) May 24, 2024 The accusation of bribery was revoked and that's a win for Barcelona. Yes.But...The Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office had already said bribery wasn't the charge they wanted to pursue against Barcelona.Negreira wasn't a public official so a bribery charge was impossible. pic.twitter.com/AGyY10l5mU— Michael (@LaLigaMichael) May 24, 2024 1. Money laundering charge was dropped in this case cuz the same charge is already being pursued separately.2. Bribery charge was revoked & already planned by the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.A win for the club, yes! Not the end.The main charge is sporting corruption. pic.twitter.com/MmSl3GbXhS— Michael (@LaLigaMichael) May 24, 2024
Anything that chases Tuchel from Bayern is a positive. The appointment of Tuchel has been a total negative on Bayern Our least point haul in the last 12 seasons was last yr 71points bettered by this season 72points both by Tuchel Basically Bayerns worst point per game coach in a very long time, Some said worst since mid 90s
So in context, Xavi resigns which would have cost Barcelona nothing, Laporta refuse. Then goes ahead to fire Xavi which will cost him severance fees. Pay nothing? No, Pay severance Yes Something looks off

Friendly reminder that Jamie's commentary is straight from Earth 2, here on Earth 1, we just are getting updates, no action is required.
I actually feel bad for him. He's extremely annoying, but he's not a bad coach. The irony here is that what he said (this time) wasn't directly from the Ministry of Propaganda; it was relatively reasonable.

Meh, any manager who leaves Cancelo on to try to help defend leads vs P$G and vs Real isn't doing it right. Any manager whose side goes up a man at home vs Valencia, yet still keeps 3 CDs in the lineup, instead of re-arranging the lineup to take advantage of being a man up, isn't doing it right. He's actually not a good manager, in part because he's relatively inexperienced, who had his brother as his chief assistant, and unlike Pep, he has had no Cruyffian emeritus figure to lean on for counsel. He's tactically limited, and too rigid in his thought and action. Some of his limitations could be bridged through time and experience, and/or having proper assistance from the bench, the club, and the sporting department; IMO, he has had none of these things. Despite this, from a results standpoint, most clubs would be in ecstatic for a manager to finish 1st and 2nd in La Liga in his two full seasons as manager. That said, for a variety of reasons, this is a bad move for Barca.
So City will sign 100 M GBP Bruno since 85 M buyout clause Lucas is out of the picture. Bologna losing 2-0 to Genoa. Atlaanta will be in the top 4 if they win one of remaining two league games which would mean no CL spot for 6th placed Roma.
