From the outside looking in the Xavi situation seems messy and strange.

They'll turn on Flick and say something about Barca DNA

Looks like ETH is out. Queue Poch to United? That seems like a bad outcome.

For who? Poch can't turn United around, United are currently a basket club. Those are who its a bad outcome for.
For everyone else in the league thats a great outcome, keeps United irrelevant for even longer.

I am personally more worried about Chelsea.

They have a lot of shit players, but they also have a lot of young guns. They showed a bit towards the end of the season, and if they get a competent manager in they could immediately be top 4 next season and cause us headaches.

I have faith in Arteta and Edu to keep the process rollin' along, but next season Spuds and Chelsea are a good chance to improve so we have to be ready so that when they cost top 3 teams points it isn't us.

Agree, they have done it in a very dumb and inefficient way, but they will have talent.

If Poch goes to United, can we call that a Full Mourinho, making stops at Arsenal's 3 biggest rivals?

In my Memorial Day Weekend sports rankings, it's behind the NBA Conf Finals, college softball super regionals, Monaco Grand Prix qualifying, the Championship promotion final, MLB and the NWSL.

Hard to muster. Hard to want to see either team win this cup, but I guess if I was forced to pick, I would choose Yanited, largely as a protest vote against Pep and Citeh.

I have to pay bills now so maybe maybe I’ll put it on in the background??

Garnacho is causing Citeh problems. He put them up 1-0, then made it 2-0 with a pre-assist, and in between he made another assist on a goal that was ruled offside . If there's any young player on Yanited who I think I might like to have at our place, he might be the one. Or maybe Mainoo.

Its staggering they spent that much and are the drizzling shits to watch.

Could you imagine if Arteta and Edu were given 750m to spend this window? We wouldn't drop a game.

I have too many Man United friends. I don't want them to tease me about how much many trophies they have over us despite our improvement and their regression. So Go City!

Doku makes it 1-2. He's kinda their super sub? And like Garnacho, when I've watched Doku I've imagined him for us. He's got some of that Alexis Sanchez magic that we could use, at least at times. Don't follow him closely enough to know if he'd be up to Arteta's standard for defense, but he plays for Pep so I gotta assume...

Shame Spuds or Wet Ham couldn't put this sort of shift in against Man City that United did or we would be champions, but at least 115City miss out on going back to back with the double.

OK 2-1 to Yanited is the "optimal" result. :p

And Celtic beat Rangers 1-0 in the Scottish Cup.
Absolute mental demons for Rangers. They just can't get a win there.

Edit: whoops, hit the post button too early. Doesn't matter, Celtic time wasting, game is done.

And now ETH can be made redundant. Though from our POV you could say that may not be the "optimal result". ;)

That put United in the Europa League, push Chelsea down to the Conference, and Newcastle out of Europe?
