🚨🚨‼️‼️ The Arbitration Panel orders Juventus to pay to Cristiano Ronaldo the sum of €9,774,166.66 million. CR7 won the civil case, but the court recognized contributory negligence between the parties. [@sportface2016]— Juventus News Live (@juvenewslive) April 17, 2024 Looks like the club will have to pay 50%, still, Allegri ruined this club.
❗️ | Things are heading towards an annual extension of the agreement between Juventus and Jeep for the main sponsor. The figure should be between €42-45 million , very similar to the previous agreement, although this season it has dropped to €38 million due to… pic.twitter.com/UnrUbmXuCI— Juventus News Live (@juvenewslive) April 19, 2024 Lol
If we have to pay him his money this could jeopardise getting rid of Allegri. It was cost us 20 million to pay off allegri and his staff.
Ufficiale | Giovanni Manna saluta la Juventus— JuventusFC (@juventusfc) May 21, 2024 I would say his time at Juve was a bit of a failure.
Is he a Juve legend? The Milan move and the way he unceremoniously left last time throws this all into question.
He was the sweeper/Libero in one of the best Italian and Juve defenses of the modern era. Yes he acted like a baby when Max disciplined him and his ego took him away. But he was punished for that. Both by the Juve fans and by his career never being the same. But you can't overlook the shift he put in under Conte and the first couple of years under Max. In a back 4, he was vulnerable as he was not a good straight up defender, but in a back 3 with BBC + Buffon as a sweeper, ball playing CB, he was very effective.
I remember his stint at Bari and knew there was something there. Obviously didn't think he would have the career he did.
Interestingly, I don't think he would have had the career he had had he not been put in the perfect situation. You have to credit Bepe and Conte for figuring that out and that 4 some for creating something really special in defense.
Rory Smith, the NY Times soccer correspondent, had a good newsletter today on Dortmund. He noted that when Sarri was managing Juve, he left Emre Can off of the Champions League roster and it was left to some lackey in the front office to call Can and tell him. Can gets the last laugh by getting to a CL final before Juventus!!!
This is not intended toward Bonucci, but they do have pretty low standards. We'd be losing games to minnows and they'd be posting action shots of McKennie.
I get that part, but it's so frustrating as a true supporter to see the shit product that was on the field and the social media aspect of the club like "nothing to see here". Here's some pictures of a social influencer I don't know with Yildiz. I know I couldn't be the only one here who thought that.
Just this past December Juventus declined the offer to rejoin the ECA, now there are rumors that the club is looking to rejoin. Why say no if 6 months later you're just going to go back anyway?
Quotes from Platini: Exclusive Platini ‘Trust me, it will be a great Juventus again’ ‘It’s not time to dream today, but clean up. Then Juventus must win again’ ‘Football has a future if footballers are more involved’ ‘John loves Juventus. Perhaps he doesn’t communicate it, but I can feel his commitment’ ‘Ceferin and Infantino only think about the power. Super League? I don’t know if it’s good, but it’s inevitable’
Accordo fra Juventus e Massimiliano Allegri - Juventus Juve and Allegri agree to mutual termination of his contract.
