A quick scan of the ref assignment and the prop might be in play. Also Whigfield claimed that she didn't do the Saturday Night dance routine. I don't believe her

This game scares me some... Orlando hasn't been good at home but has been decent against good teams (Cincy/Orlando) as of recent. We have won our last 2 road games after nothing on the road in the past. We have the "Challenge for the Continent" or whatever it's called coming up.. I can see us looking past this game and losing 2-1 on a last minute ORL goal.

I thought so too. For this, I did some background investigating and realized that the Crew get fouled a lot... and I mean a lot. Admittedly my research took all of 5 minutes, but it is safe to say that this prop hits far more often this year than it misses.

Regarding fouls

 

Specifically, Columbus has suffered the second most fouls in MLS. Nagbe,Morris and Rossi are all in the top 20, and Cucho would be too if he hadn't missed so many games. Yeboah as well; someone is always knocking him down, but he doesn't seem to be starting as much.

But it's to be expected. It's hard to beat Columbus on talent, and they're overall pretty fast. Fouling g teams like that is the time honored tactic when playing a side that's just better than you.

The solution of course is a referee with some balls, but MLS is short on them. Most of them seem to have forgotten the persistent infringement rule is still in the book.

 

We're seeing this more and more in world soccer--unless the person being fouled is famous--and liked. Kinda like the Gretzky "rule". You couldn't even breathe on him whereas guys like Lindros got hammered (and eventually concussed out of the game). Mind you, in Gretzky's first couple of years. you couldn't even get close enough to breathe on him, much less hit him--to be fair.

 

IDK what I was thinking, I am not going to this one.

I do have a good friend on the Gulf Coast, but not visiting for this one.
