Stroot says it's his decision to leave early... with Kellermann saying he wanted to see Stroot extend his contract beyond next season...

LOL... Wolfsburg have seen two seasons of failure, and really said Stroot is their best future.. And now they'll need to find a new coach to continue their rebuild, knowing Stroot potentially leaving them in a worse position than when he joined...:speechless:

Sorry... it was meant to read Stanway - Zadrazil, but I was rushing to make the post, and had to log back in multiple times before I actually finished lol...

So... this is your best domestic 11 of the season....

I created a personal best domestic while 11 trying to highlight players not yet selected for the senior wnt, but you've got senior wnt players like Dallmann, Krumbiegel, Kleinherne, Mahmutovic in your own best 11, making me slightly confused on your actual selection method...:cautious:

I mean... a Beck, and Hipp CM duo, ahead of Gräwe, Piljic..o_O, when Gräwe, Piljic, 2 of the leagues most obvious elite level CM talents is kind of wild lol. But no L.Ostermeier when she's easily been the best FB in the league this season (yes.. she's even been better than Gwinn)... how?

With it very curious seeing you select Elmazi ahead of a superior Alber, as you also dismiss an 8 goals, 2 assists forward Weidauer, and the leagues best CAM (Kowalski) from your final top 13 names...:speechless:

Krug Leipzig's best defender all season, and I don't even mind seeing you select Landenberger ahead of her lol. But an underwhelming season of 3 goals 2 assists for a wide forward like Memeti, and a mainly playing FB Krumbiegel, both being acknowledged ahead of the super impressive attacking contribution seasons of Alber and Kowalski.. wow, OK... lol.

    @hotjam2 Your 11.....
    Elmazi ---------------------- Fudalla ------------------ Krumbiegel
    ------------------------------- Dallmann --------------------------
    --------------------- Beck ------------------- Hipp ------------------
    Lührßen --- Landenberger ------------ Kleinherne --- Hahn
    ------------------------------- Mahmutovic ------------------------
    Bench: Memeti - Kogel

    Vs My 11...
    -------------------- Weidauer -----------------------
    Alber ------------ Kowalski --------------- Fudalla
    ------------ Gräwe ---------- Piljic -----------------
    Lührßen ---- Pucks ---- Krug ---- L.Ostermeier
    ---------------------- Grohs --------------------------
    Bench: Anna Gerhardt

Hmmmm... even with you selecting 4 senior wnt players, I think my 11 of non wnt players still wins this...:coffee: Your defence having the clear advantage of Kleinherne, my mid-field and offense still creates far more problems for your team to try and contain.

However, regardless of what we both think of defenders here, looking at all these names, it very clear far more unrecognised talent resides in defensive positions, than mid-field or forward positions right now.

Me selecting Lührßen, Pucks, Krug, L.Ostermeier, Gerhardt, Grohs, you selecting Lührßen, Landenberger, Kleinherne, Hahn, Mahmutovic, you also have consider we didn't even mention Veit, Sterner, Küver...:speechless:

So post Olympics, with a new selection of wnt coaches, surely we start to see some of these names introduced into future squads...:cautious:

I just saw Arsenal’s stunning home game attendance figures of 29,999. Can’t help but feel if only Lohmann went to Arsenal, they’ll guaranteed to an extra ticket holder in order to hit that 30K milestone figure! lol

@luka74 just saw highlights of Arsenal going over to Melbourne to play the A-League All-stars in an friendly match. Very well received & attended with many fans wearing Arsenal jerseys while cheering for both squads.

both an tribute to Australia & the growing positivity that woso can bring to the game…and interesting that the pitch got invaded by birds or were they pigeons?—an synonym for world peace

well again, if former NT players can’t make the current or last couple of cycles of call ups, then they should be allowed on this list

you got Ostermeier & Luhrssen on you list, but their both left-backs, so not fair either, lol

felt like I tried to balance out my squad with technical players like Fudelia & Dallmann in combination with players that can ‘cover distances/spaces which I’ve seen Beck, Hahn, Krumbiegel Elmazi do with speedier/athletics(I mean you probably pick instead an all technical squad, lol).
Same with CB’s; dunno who Puck is, but I would pick a continues growing 20 year old, defensive CB in Landesberger combined with a more attacking option like Kleineheme—at least Landesberger gives stronger aerial defense than having two Libero’s in both CB’s(often Hengering & Hendrich seem to be)

I didn’t pick Kuver, Cerci Kossler & the underrated Roscow do to that I don’t feel they’ve had the successful recoveries as of yet, hopefully they’ll get back to pre injuries form by next season

But this makes no sense when your talking about selecting 4 players with a combined total of 96 appearances for the senior wnt...:speechless:

Yeah... this does include Mahmutovic as someone who's been selected for squads but not seen any match time yet. But what your doing here seems very... disingenuous, as it would be like me selecting Magull with 76 games for the senior wnt, simply because she's not part of the latest Euro's qualifying squad..

See, it doesn't really makes sense...

L.Ostermeier is a right footed LB, who's spent many years playing for the junior wnt's and Essen, in BOTH FB roles, and even sometimes in a CB or CM role on rare occasions too.

So no, this isn't some trick I'm playing here. as this is just like me selecting Linder to play on the right, or Gwinn to play on the left, knowing both players are actually very comfortable on either side of the field as FB's.

My squad simply reflects what I saw as the leagues top performers this season, within their respective roles, or based on their overall contribution to their teams, within the parameters of identifying individuals who've never been selected for the senior wnt.

And using this method, I find it odd seeing anyone select Krumbiegal ahead of Alber... when Alber not only her clubs most effective attacker this season, but also be a main reason behind Krumbeigal never being able to find any match time in her preferred offensive role.

Plus didn't you notice how Leipzig would try to help Fudalla this season, bringing in Larsson to take over as the teams main forward role, allowing Fudalla to move into a CAM/2nd forward role...? Fudalla isn't regarded as someone capable of leading the attack as the main forward lol.

WOW...You've got to be kidding...o_O Pucks is the same age as Landenberger, but Pucks is taller than Landenberger, finishing in the top 10 for most aerials won this season, whilst also being part of the u20's WC plans, having just produced a far better season for a more successful club team.

Krug also CLEARLY the best CB at Leipzig this season too, it feels like you've decided to use some incredibly biased reasoning to justify the selection of Landenberger...:cautious:

Rackow.... A player who produced 6 goals, with 5 assists, as a forward in Leipzig's title winning promotion season to 1.Bundesliga. That's OK... but not signs of an elite attacking prospect.

So how are you putting Rackow into the same potential arena as Küver (one of Europe's best young defenders), Cerci (the leagues best forward before her ACL tear), and Kössler (long time junior wnt cornerstone, back to back seasons scoring 10+ league goals)..o_O

I mean when I think underrated, I think it's highlighting someone like Endemann before she joined Wolfsburg. Talking about how impressive Haim looked for a relegated 1. FC Nürnberg. Or mentioning the fact Ramona Maier continues to produce consistent goals and assists for Essen.

Is Rackow talented... yes, as most junior wnt players are likely to be very talented. But what has Rackow actually done to be regarded as a underrated prospect...?

@hotjam2 I thought it was incredibly easy to see the traits that would make Endemann successful within a club like Wolfsburg, with me believing it only a matter of time before we see these traits translate to her impressing for the senior wnt too.

And if I'm thinking about underrated German prospects for the future, I'd say you've been smart to acknowledge the positive but rarely praised traits of Kögel right now...:whistling:
