They do have charisma. Those four I mentioned had a cult following, people defending them to the bitter end. I don't get their charisma, I'm too misanthropic to fall for anyone's charisma, but I know it exists since I saw many people defending them against all reason. For us regular folks, we're lucky if a couple of non-relatives/non-spouse are willing to defend us when someone talks ill behind our backs.
