Guess he doesn't like Mier o well. wasn't going to start so o well. Looks like he went with a team to win the cup today and not really looking at the future or as a warm up to the WC.

Quintero/Carascal will be 1 of the guys out(we don't need 4 #10s) then maybe a CB we don't need 5 plus Munoz can play CB.

but yea think everyone hopes and prays Uribe gets taken out of the roster :)

Exciting tho he didnt call Cuadrado so that diving FK is out of the NT while this dude is coach. Has been fit for longer than Uribe and Sinisterria.

I am fine with the 4 strikers he called. Hope they all stay tho if he called 28 why not 30 and bring on Cassiera who done more than Borre has to be on the team.

Seems pretty straightforward based on who's been involved so far. We should give it a real shot to get a trophy, if things go right its possible, that said though getting Duran/Yaser/Castano lots of minutes should also be a priority and I think those two goals could be great for us right now and even better 2 years from now.

I accepted James Rodriguez, maybe borre but damn why did he leave out John cordoba , casierra, C.Borja, Portilla, and more for guys like Mojica , Uribe ( I think we could’ve been fine without him ) mina , and Gomez ? Aight hopefully I’m wrong and we take this thing home .

Cordoba did make the roster tho think he an older worst version of Duran. Cassiera would have been a better option as he different from our other options but o well. Both better options than Borre but we know our coach loves the guy

Hope Uribe and Quintero get dropped. Other than that the rest of the 26 seem great options. even tho I would have preferred Mier over Ospina/Montero.

Arias has replaced Cuadrado so he isnt needed any more.

Uribe hasn't been replaced by Rios or Castano. Until he is then we will see him on the roster sadly.

Then Quintero needs the boot if Yaser can give it to him.

Pretty much all the old guard outside of James which again if Yaser can somehow bench him which won't be anytime soon. Also depends on how James feels or acts after being put on the bench.

If anything more annoyed Mier wasn't called but think the coach went if Vargas goes down how do I feel about putting X/Y player thats why he went with who he did. He wanted guys who have experience. O well...

    He is.
Last I heard is he is week-to-week. More than likely being saved until the Pachuca Championship match.

Mier has played zero minutes this cycle so to say you are mad he is not on the list is a tad bit extreme.
Maybe you can complain that Lorenzo did not play him in other matches but you cannot be surprised he was left off.

I had to do a double check but Miguel Borja is actually on this list.
I am not going to get my hopes up too high cause he can still be one of the two cut...
... but wow. That I did not expect at all. (But he deserves to be on the list 100%.)
Happy for him to at least be considered by the manager.

I had a funny feeling Uribe would make it and I was right. Portilla, Puerta, Solis (injured) are just not ready and did not get any minutes this cycle.

I also had a feeling Cuadrado would make it somehow and glad I was wrong on that one. Maybe he will do some commentating for Caracol or something. Hope he just does not go on vacation and forget about the rest of the team. I bet he is a little disappointed.

Sebastian Gomez is the one that is really head scratcher here. He looked okay in the Non-FIFA friendlies. IS he tearing it up in Brasil?

I don't like him but I have to give credit when credit is due. He played well against Spain and for most of the match against Romania until he ran out of gas.

I am a bit skeptical though. Mojica and Machado are not really known for their defensive prowess so a team with a really good Right Winger will make me a bit concerned for sure.
But Lucumi provides a lot of good cover for their deficiencies on that left side of our defense.

His team plays in the Brazilian second division. Have to think that he has to be one of the favorites to get cut,

Yes. He is the main candidate to be one of the cuts.
But what is surprising to me is that Portilla is very good and actually was called for a real friendly.

I hope JuanFer makes the final cut.
This could be his first and only Copa America participation.
(Hard to believe he has never played in a Copa America but it is true. Mostly due to injuries.)

If it means that much to him, he will make a statement during this camp. He's very capable if he has the right mind and drive.

Is Cristian Borja injured at lb? That's a serious loss considering how well he played against in the qualifiers.
